Y'know, I'm seeing a bit of contrast in why Frey and Carrion chose to serve Milim. Frey clearly feels guilt at leaving Milim to Clayman's mercy, despite him never really being able to do anything to her. Carrion? He just wants Milim to pay for blasting his royal capital to bits.
I think Frey also wants Milim to protect her people, since Frey is able to see that there are beings much more powerful than herself.
And since what Milim wants is friends she also gets to spend her time with Frey now since they would be ruling their territories together.
U forgot that she realised she was too weak to be called a demon Lord
I think their are political forces at play as well. She was serious when she said she is not strong enough to be a demon lord. Submitting to Milim protects Frey, Carrion, and their people from the wrath of other demon lords.
both of them (excluding clayman) were the only ones in the demon lord circle not to awaken as true demon Lords so they feel too weak compared to the Octagram
some of the octagram can't even awaken in the first place but that's besides the point
She looked so sad at the prospect of losing Frey as a friend...that was heart breaking.

@@spekosaurus2581 the animation wasnt really bad looking as such the issue with season 3 is just how straight up static and lazily drawn it was which is why people say the budget was bad cause it really feel like they either didn Care or didn have a budget for it :/
Fights especially was boring and drawn very simple throughout the show which was very dissapointing with certain moments it had in it

Milim must really treasure Rimuru as a friend then since he's the only one who's not instantly bowing down to her after fighting her and losing.

thing is, if the fight continued and they both got serious, rimuru would have won. heres why ; with Beelzebub, he had an unbreakable shield, a means to continually eat her attacks and eat away at her in a manner that bypasses her shields. with Raphael, and Uriel, he had access to every single skill he, or his subordinates, possessed, with the ability to modify and combine them on the fly, so he would eventually find other, more damaging means to break through her defenses. even assuming she pulled repeated, Drago Novas at close range, beelzebub would be able to eat all that energy, and using Uriel, vent excess magic that wouldnt fit in his stomach into the surrounding area, just to turn those magicules back on milim.
tl:dr? milim has way, way more raw power than anyone but Guy, and even there its close, _but_ thanks to Uriels insanely vast number of skills, Beelzebub being both the ultimate defense and ultimate attack, and Raphael coordinating everything, rimiru has the edge.

he already has Uriel, which includes magic manipulation, Raphael is already combining and changing skills since he has Beelzebub. in the anime adaptation, he currently has the skills and technical ability to pull off what i mentioned at this point .

This anime always manages to hype me up, normally I thought it was a happy slice of life-esque anime with adventuring, but then after getting into it I can say for sure that it is great.

I understand world-building, but you need to progress the story while building the world. Not an entire volume of meetings with no progression.
TBH the alternative title for this anime and LN should be: "Meetings Happen, and Sometimes Fights Break Out "
Because that's what you'll be seeing and getting: meetings. TTIRGRAS is a world-building isekai, with an OP MC but focused on actually managing a city.
