- Bonjour Everyone! This is a tarot and oracle decks haul video where I share with you the new tarot decks & new oracle decks that joined my tarot collection during the last month or so. I was lucky enough to spend a few days in the UK earlier in February so I managed to bring back a LOT of goodies 😁There are some awesome mass market tarot & oracle decks & some indie gems too that I'm super excited to read with & to integrate in my tarot practice. I also wanted to show a sneak peek of some amazing decks that were sent to me for review♥️ I hope you'll enjoy it & I'm so happy to be back!

I loved the Crystal Skull Tarot as soon as Jessie talked about it on the Hermit's Cave. It's a wonderful deck that doesn't get a lot of love, but it's sooo deep! The yarn is a huge part of it, and yes, she spun and dyed all the yarn herself. Just delicious! 😊

"Deck trafficking!" 🤣 What about placing words in terms of a compass… N/S/E/W for the oracle? Sounds like a fun project. Waterstones is as awesome as usual. They also have a huge store near Russel Square. I am so glad you made it to Watkins… and damage you must do in an esoteric shop💸. Lots of wonderful decks including the Tarot Landscapes, so happy for you. Next time I will be the deck mule… I will have lost enough pounds to pad myself with decks. “If you live somewhere not so super sunny you’ll enjoy these decks more… Yes, like Belgium where we are getting about 8 hours of direct sunlight per month”… Why not just say, “somewhere gloomy miserable … and oh, where Neha lives” 🌧🤣. It’s ok, I keep the vials at the back of the shelf for you. The Penumbra looks beautiful. I have always wanted the Awaked Soul. Great decks

Yay you're back! I hope your recovery is swift. I'm glad you had such a wonderful trip! Yes to turning games into divination tools. The card one I would do 4 keywords and layer in the directionality of the cards. Would love to see it when you get it done and your process if your interested. I love the Crystal Skull Tarot, it is very underrated. It's a great reader for every kind of question, it's so beautiful and the guidebook is perfect! I'm so happy you have it. Stay cool and comfortable, you were missed.

I got the Tarot Landscapes last month and truthfully didn't expect to love it as much as I do. Also, welcome to the "Don't break the Seal Club" 🤣Oh my gosh - The Crystal Skull Tarot is one of decks I use for Ancestral work, I love it! (You might want to take a look at Remembering the Sweet Fool Tarot - you might like it).

I want to say that I was also disappointed when I got my Bohemian Gothic tarot. Mostly, because I didn't know it was going to have that effect. If I had paid closer attention, I probably wouldn't have purchased. I put it away until fall, so we'll see how I feel when spooky season gets here.

Thankyou so very ( very! ) much for telling us about Watkins as I was unaware of this shop. As the postage is within UK I will actually be able to afford aRobert Place deck ( or two?). I’ve looked at his website often but, as you will sympathise I’m sure, the shipping from US to UK doubles the cost.

Believe it or not, I got the book "the Cloisters" for Xmas from an English friend who knows I love tarot, and have not read it yet, but will start ASAP now you have it too. Quelle bonne idée to turn the mime cards deck into an oracle, I would put only one keyword (more may be confusing ?) Great decks, the Crystal Skulls is fascinating in it's originalité. I love everything in the 5th Spirit tarot, especially the pips. The cold and wet has taken hold of us here, (as it did to you not so long ago ✈), glad you are warmer now! Biiiig hugs to you 🥰

Totally agree that the cold stamping detracts from the Baba Studio decks. I expected the opposite and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I would have prefered the two decks I have from them with no cold stamping at all.

Arrested for deck trafficking 😂😂😂 So good to see you back ❤️🌼 ps I don’t like the cold stamping on the Bohemian Gothic either, living in sunny Australia it’s also hard to see and it reminds me of that metallic effect we used to get with Mercurochrome.
Omg that Mercurochrome reference brought me back 10 years ago I can still smell it 😂🤣Yes I don’t think this deck is made for sunny places , the vampires are probably like “hisssss put us in the cave already it’s too bright here” 😂 or at least that’s what I imagine haha. Thank you for watching 💖💖
I am with you on the Bohemian Gothic. And it isn't just because you are in a sunny place. Im in the middle of a Dark and Dreary winter, and it is still too much shine on the cold foil stamping, I feel like I've gotten the most out of it when using it at night by candlelight. It seems to quickly be sliding into my new moon ritual deck, which i try to always do late in the evening.
Oh and I was just thinking about you and the next thing I know you show up in my feed...CZcams is scary man! Glad to see you back and doing better.

Tarot Landscapes deck is so good, very underrated. I love the images and the explanations create a feeling of a concept like other decks don't. I read for animals often and it works well with their needs. I've also got Babel on my TBR. :)

Love the game to oracle deck concept I hope you can come up with keywords or phases to cover all the card directions. Also I’d love to see them be really unique yet useful something not typically used. It will be a fun series to watch it created and later used

Re: Circe Tarot- the guidebook puts the 7 of Swords as Hestia and says 'treachery'. This is so grotesquely wrong for Hestia I didn't bother to go any further with the deck or its guidebook. Hestia is the goddess of the hearth and home. She is the one immortal who never caused humanity any drama. She was universally revered. So this isn't a difference of opinion. It's literally the author not knowing Greek Mythology. Also, the deck has next to nothing about Circe in it she's in 4-5 cards total. Circe has some of the most interesting stories in Greek myth, all of which would be perfect for different tarot cards. Here's Lo Scarebo's blurb about this deck "Circe Tarot presents the Homeric Odyssey from the unprecedented perspective of the enchantress Circe". Nope, it doesn't go into the majority of her story.
I agree regarding Circe after using the deck more consistently all February I wish she was on more cards as this is named after her. Overall I am finding enjoying working with it more for the graphic style which I really enjoy and inspiration rather than the actual mythology behind each card as I have some decks that do this aspect better.
So glad to see you back! I 100% sliced through the sticker on Pagan Otherworlds 😂 I get why people keep it on, but the other part of me was like....if I don't do that, I won't feel like it's mine. And oh my gosh yes, it's like shuffling butter - the pros and the cons of it.
I think this deck has a mind of its own that will also decide where it goes as soon as it is out of the box 😂 thank you for watching ❤️

Speaking of games for divination, have you played with "Ouisi" yet? I love that one especially when working with drawing emotional guidance out. Congrats on Pagan Otherworlds, too - I also am a seal preserver and open from the bottom. I think the deck exploded open on you because of JOY for finally reaching you! Both those books (Cloisters and Babel) are excellent! I read both in the last 3 months. The Cloisters one I would say I didn't 100% agree with the readings from the tarot but I could see where they came from - I'd be interested to hear you thoughts on that when you have read it 😁 Babel was all over booktube / booktok in 2022 when it came out. I can't add anything more to the conversation on that front but I did enjoy it.
Oh I didn’t realise there were actual readings in the book, I’m so curious now to see how it’s done as sometimes it can be hit or miss for me 😄 I am so behind I had never heard of either of them 😂hahah but I’m glad you enjoyed both that makes me excited about picking them up !!

The vibes of the book are ON POINT though, so wonderfully gothic. It's also definitely the prettiest cover I own 😂😍

I got all of uusi’s decks two months ago and no I have not discarded the seals lol I actually tried to peel them off gently but it almost went very wrong. I ended up just chopping them but kept them stuck on the inside of the box 😂
This is my exact worry I know I can be a savage with scissors so if I try to remove it gently I will just make a mess 😂😂

Trying to remember what I was going to comment on (it's so fucking hot here today, I know you relate ❤🔥😒) I have the Cloisters, I loved it & the exact same reason I bought it - the cover is stunning! I haven't read Babel but all the reviews say it's great.
I am shocked that you didn't own Pagan Otherworlds 🤫 It is the deck I have had since the beginning & the one I love so automatically - it's never even included in discussions about fav decks unless someone reminds me because it's like a part of my soul. So I'm glad you got it & glad you didn't tear the seal (me neither 😁) I received my Bohemian Gothic too & I love it. My place is surrounded by sunshine but my house never has lights switched on or blinds open so it is usually dark in here on a beaming sunny day 😂
