In terms of loans i liked how Bayern often handled it in the past. Loan players for straight 2yrs. Lets be real. A player like Washington or Angelo wont do much for our first team during those 2yrs anyways. If we send them to Strasburg we also have control over the entire envirement. IMO our Top3 Loans should always be to our sister club in france. IMO in the future its crucial getting Strasburg into the Conference League. This way talents have a real progression path for the first 2yrs. Cup, League and European Football. Imagine a player like Santos could play regular League and European Football in his 2nd loan year. Bayern f.e loaned Philipp Lahm for his first 2years to Stuttgart. In his 2nd year at Stuttgart he even won the League Title with them over Bayern. He returned to Bayern and the rest of a world class player is history. Markus Babel stayed for 2yrs at Hamburger SV. Returned as a proven CB and german international. The list goes on and on. And if a player shreds everything to pieces in his first year already. Heck there are for sure ways to work out something with our sister club to have him sooner back at Chelsea.
Santos NEEDS to stay in this team next season. He is good defensively and can also get forward to score goals. Keep him and Carney as rotation players next season
Angelo doesn't score goals. Therefore, he is not better than Madueke. At Estrasbourg he didn't score any goals and at Santos FC he scored very few goals. Scoring goals is Angelo's Achilles heel.
