In this vlog we're back in County Mayo to visit two incredible destinations in the Wild Atlantic Way that we hadn´t explored yet.
Westport, one of the most beautiful towns in Ireland, and Croagh Patrick, the holiest mountain in Ireland.
Watch until the end to know more about these interesting places, we will explore Westport main sights and we will climb Croagh Patrick as many pilgrims still do every summer.

I always enjoy your videos. Particularly when they are in my homeland. I love the way you both embrace Ireland. As an Irishman living abroad your videos can bring a nostalgic tear to my eye, but will invariably make be smile before too long.
Thank you so much. Your words really mean to us (coming from an Irishman). I sometimes receive comments that I do not deserve to show Ireland because I am Asian. I just delete those comments because it doesn’t make sense but I do not deny that it hurts me too. So thank you for appreciating our work. I hear a lot of comments too that Ireland is boring. But I think it’s a matter of perception. We love Ireland. We have learned and embraced the weather. We have finally understood that the beauty of the country depends on the weather. There is still so much to explore here and we are very excited to share through our videos. We are happy to read comments just like yours.

Unfortunately, the internet allows small, minded bigots, and racists who have done nothing with their lives to make stupid nasty comments directed at people with impunity. The issue is with them and has nothing to do with the people they direct their spite at.

I never made it to Westport during my 3 week trip to Ireland. Next time right? I love your channel. You should have continued another 7 miles past Croagh Patrick to the town of Louisburgh! Cute authentic town and beautiful beaches!

Going in a few weeks for the 4th time nice town lovely harbour area and not far from achill island and keem bay beach is stunning there

On Croagh Patrick Their is a church at the top of the mountain only open on reek Sunday.
Westport has a lot to offer.

I would like to ask if it took just under 2 hours to get to the top, how long did it take to get down?

On the way down, we were faster but we stopped few times to film too, so it's difficult to say. 😅 But it could be 1h and a half with average pace or less if you are fast, just be careful in the rocky area near the summit because it can be very slippery going down, then the rest is much easier and you could descend much quicker. We have read online people doing everything in 2h 30min and others in more than 4 hours. Hope you enjoy your time there!

Bertra used to be a beautiful beach but due to severe Gaels it has changed alot as you can see.

@@jamesfagan7823 haha! I understand. I think it depends too on the experience. Maybe we were lucky when we had a good weather and not much people. Actually my husband was disappointed about the cars parked on the streets. It took away the charm of the town.

Beaches ,, Islands ,, Westport House , The Quay , Croagh Patrick the beautiful mountain, All the lovely islands one can go to ,, a lovely cruise boat to go around Clew bay and see some beautiful places it has it all ......
