The Carleton Villa has a new Owner

Well after being on the market for over 12 years this notable home has a new owner. Abandon for over 90 years we plan to restore the home and give it new life.
This amazing 15,000 sqft villa was built in 1895 for William O. Wyckoff a marketer of Remington Typewriters and the architect was the famed William H. Miller.

Congratulations ! I just bought a little piece of pie in Cape Vincent ! I just adore that Village, Tibbets Point Lighthouse . I am not from the area , I live very far away in Las Vegas, NV . But i will be spending the summers in the Cape. I came upon this Gorgeous property while searching about Cape Vincent and the area. Im so glad you can see the Beauty in restoring this property. So many pieces of history and historical homes are so damaged or just demolished. Goid luck with the Reno , the Grounds are amazing ❤

Thank you for purchasing this gem. Used to live across the river in the log home by Lazy Acres. We were thrilled to drive by (in our boat, of course) last summer and see the SOLD sign at the villa. Looking forward to watching your progress. Please keep the videos coming!

The "Universal Law of Attraction" is Absolute, you can create anything and enjoy the most delicious exercise of doing so.
I would be interested to know the true History of the property, from before the house was built, forward.
I can't fathom General Electric purchasing the estate and then just leaving it, after the 1930's economic situation.
90 years of no residents?.
Haunted? By whom Mr Wycoff? Or was it a Native American burial site? It's far more likely the decayed state that inspires the Ghost Stories.
Not that energies can't exist that inhabit spaces, but people stayed there from 1895 until the 1930's without a problem.
All that aside, You go have some fun and I shall look forward to all the successes you inspire on your property!
