Hey there! First off, thanks for linking my Video and the lovely support, very much appreciated.
As you pointed out correctly, he uses the "actual" name of the mechanic (e.g. Radbruch or Blutadler) before he spawns the wedges which then release the previously used attack as "Ketzergabel" - while he then also uses the same attack as a finish also naming it "Ketzergabel".
Looking at the actual torture device, it represents a fork with four tips which if you connect all four tips form a rectangle, while it offers something to hold the fork in the Center.
Since the mechanic represents this torture device by having eh four wedges forming the tips and the boss in the Center as the handle, it was probably convenient to keep the name matching while the torturing method changes - to not lose the idea of them mimicking the device (in terms of shape) - not sure if that was clear at all haha.
Unfortunately, I cannot really draw a conclusion as to why the two different methods are relevant as the actual appliance of the "Ketzergabel" doesn't relate to both: "The heretic’s fork was rammed into the sternum and the jaw or chin with its sharp points and fastened to the neck with a leather strap or iron band. This caused the head to be forcibly held upwards, making any movement impossible. Speaking was also impossible."
    …. Holy moly :)
BTW: "Geweiderupfer" pronounciation was aced ;)
BTW2: I like your voice as well as the lovely animated cat, great content! keep it up and wish you a lot of success moving forward!
BTW3: Sorry for my english, as you noticed, it not my mothertongue :D

Thank you! I really appreciate the description. It's so nice to connect with players of other languages! In the English battle there are a total of 5 words/terms used for the attacks. So it seems like they added one for the German translation to better match the Boss's movements.
Also your English is great! I wish the best for you as well.

Regarding the Cardinal Virtues I would like to clarify that the Warriors of Light didn't turn into sin eaters. The Virtues were unique creations of Vauthry.
The Cardinal Virtues were created 3 years before the Warrior of Darkness's arrival on the First, using the earthly remains of Ardbert's friends. It is speculated by the character Cyella that the idea for this was planted by the Ascians, (and given later events in the story it is likely Elidibus was the one involved), and that it was relatively easy for Vauthry to do it because they were all buried in Eulmoran territory.
It is never said where the names come from sadly, neither in the quest nor in the supplementary material I could find on the subject.
Also glad to see I made the cut 😉

I'm rather certain they were though! As I remember, their bodies were flooded with light by Vauthry and brought up as sin eaters. Their souls were gone but their memories were still intact. @GoddessThain helped refresh my memory of the Tank Role Quest, as I main Dark Knight and did the quest relating to Dikaiosyne (formerly Branden). GoddessThain has a HUGE catalog of playthrough content including a VOD on this specific questline here (czcams.com/video/dVhdUbgKNAo/video.html). In that video right around 3:15, Granson summarizes Branden's story.

I am german but always play in english and I gotta say...whew. Hearing the german versions, which are pretty much literal translations, sounds so much more brutal. Weird how that works
