The secret is out! Next month I will be moving to the US for my Internal Medicine residency!
I'm soooo excited. I'm also really excited to share my experience with you guys and show my day-to-day life as a doctor. Get ready for US (moving) content!!
What is Match Day??
Match Day marks the time when fourth-year medical graduates all over the US and International doctors (like me) find out if they have landed spots in the residency they have applied for.

For the people who don't know me: My name is Samira. I was born & raised in the Netherlands (originally from Somalia). I did my medical school in Amsterdam and graduated last year. I currently work as an occupational doctor. I chose internal medicine because I'm interested in cardiology and critical care medicine. Currently leaning towards cardiology (although I'm still open-minded about the other fellowship options as well) In my next video, I will tell you why I decided I wanted to move to the US (it's a long story lol) :)
