It did have an expansion.
It DID have DLC; It had multiple that even added new Campaigns, civilizations, maps, units, modes, etc.
They didn't they did remake this game just using the same graphics engine but overhauled
Hopefully they give it the AOE2:DE treatment with active development team and expansions 🙏🙏
