I love your shirts with places or schools on them. We got back from a weekend trip to Wisconsin a couple weeks ago. And last weekend, my sister took me to Costco and my little niece gave me the puppy dog eyes until I got her a squishmallow. She tried to get me to buy half the book section, too, but I'd gotten some little free library books for her so she didn't necessarily have to buy a bunch of brand new ones just cause they had Bluey or Paw Patrol on the cover.
Now that I have seen a cat convention, I desperately wish to go to one. No one in the Midwest is cool enough to host one.
Now that I'm at the end of the video, still making random comments, I'm so excited for you to read Lies and Weddings. That one had so much drama, I loved it! My favorite character, Kitty, from the Crazy Rich Asians series actually gets a mention. (And that's basically the only part of the trilogy that even gets mentioned, so be assured that Lies and Weddings is also a stand alone novel and you don't need to read his other books to enjoy it.)

YESS I REMEMBER YOUR COMMENT that you liked Lies and Weddings, excited to see how we like it!!! Also now I’m SO curious about Kitty being your favorite character hahaha (BUT I HAVENT READ THE FULL CRA trilogy so maybe I need to read that first to find out why!!!)
@@tiachu I hope your parents had fun too! It's actually a lot more pretty of a landscape than we were expecting, since we road tripped on the smaller roads and stuff (cause we usually take interstates or highways). Iowa is full of boring corn fields, so to see some actual nature was nice!
Kitty is one of the more complicated characters of the series, though, imo. She has some redeeming qualities and some things that make you want to dislike her. So overall, I really love how Kwan crafted her as a character. She has some POV chapters in the 2nd and 3rd books- I hope that's not too much of spoilers.
