Hello there. Not sure if that "TTM" code is working or what.... ANYWAY the important thing is I got this project off my hard drive so I can start working on the video from the Glen Helen 24 hour!

I've been looking at bikes like this for a while now. I really appreciate the review. Looks like a lot of fun!
Great review as always Gabe! Very glad you posted to Instagram or I wouldn't have known you posted, no notification or anything on my feed. Can't wait for Glen Helen!
Thanks Gabe for a excellent review. I might look into one of these at some point.
Literally best review style I've seen so far
Excellent review. Very thorough!
Great review Gabe!!
Perfect, Gabe! Thinking of one of these as a hunting ride.
Thanks. Great review
Dude you got a great narrators voice. Do more bike reviews bro. motorcycles / e bikes like this. People like this stuff
Killer review.. keep up the work.
Thanks for the video.
Great info
Very nice review. I wonder if you set your wheel size to 26.5 or 27 inch if that would make the speedo more accurate.
So, this bike really resembles my Ariel Rider Kepler. The shape of the frame, the rack, the tail light, the location of the controller, the pedals and many other things are all similar.
With a $100 veteran's discount I paid $1699 for the Kepler. The battery is 52V and 20mah. Motor is rated at 1000 watt nominal and 1800 peak. Brakes are Tektro hydraulic discs. With an adjustment I won't mention again, I've had it up to 41.8 mph on a level road and I could try for more, but normally it's around 37 mph.
After seeing your great review I'm convinced that these bikes started out the same and Ariel Rider asked for the changes.
excellent thorough review
Glad you enjoyed it!

Best test ebike video i have watched so far! A1+
Glad you liked it!
I saw that King Taco cup!!! They make some bomb ass Tacos.
You should get a Sur Ron X and review that. You can modify them and make them really powerful for the weight. Really cool stuff
Gabe it is cooling off in maine .I picked up a slightly used beta 125 four cycle street legal enduro to ride while i rebuild kdx .it is like a fat ebike compared to kdx .
You should do the baja 1000.
yes
Great video. 1:33 - Minions on audio track.
Nice review! Definitely interested in these. Might start by getting the wife one so she can keep up on the hills.
Thanks! Careful though, you'll be the one trying to keep up haha
This is the best bike review I’ve ever seen. What exactly were your settings for the 10mph test where you got 60 miles? Do you still recommend this bike since it’s been a while? How are the flats? Are the wires on connectors that can be disconnected for service?
For the one where I got 60 miles out of it, I had left the max output cranked all the way up, but I dropped the pedal assist down to start at about 12% for setting #1 and end at about 36% for setting #5. Then just barely pedaled to keep the motor assisting. I flipped through the modes to maintain a steady pace while just lightly inputting at the pedals. The pace was casual with no exertion from myself but averaged to 10mph which I think would have busted my ass on a non-assisted bike.
I'd say it's a good bike if you're used to buying budget stuff. My sense with it was that I got about $900 worth of bicycle if it were a manual bicycle, having owned a few pedal bikes in the sub 1k range. Some of the bits and pieces, you'll have to identify how to source if it ever broke because there isn't a full 100% OEM parts catalog to shop from... But every bicycle I've had has been that way. It's not like the Chinese are engineering proprietary parts for these bikes so every part is out there and you just have to find it if you need it.
Not sure if I understand your question about connectors, but they all unplug from each other at both ends it seems. The connectors aren't a type I have seen before but if you wanted you could definitely re-wire it all to use a common connector type.

Awesome
Facts
cool!
I love my ebike!
I need help with hjm master unlock code for advanced settings
Is there risk of damaging the motor or battery by cranking the current limit to 22A?
Nah. The battery is a 14s3p from what I can tell, which should handle up to 30A but probably has overcurrent protection kick in before that. Pushing a 750w hub motor (if it really is one) to 1kw is pretty tame compared to what some people get away with when over-powering e-bikes, often making them twice as powerful as stock on the same motor. From what I've seen the motors generally fail from age and miles on the bearings rather than actually toasting the windings.
I Got the Toury not the Step Thru. I'm a Fat, Old Retiree. The First time I tried to mount the bike with my out of Shape 6 Ft. Frame We Almost Toppled Over into the Street. It is a Big Bike.
The cost comparison to an economy car is shocking!
Is there any regenerative charging?
Nope
What was you’re next choice in ebikes?
A custom build mid-drive for sure
Does the throttle work when PAS is set to 0?
Yes, the throttle always works regardless of any setting.

@@TortureTestMagazine Thanks for the very prompt reply. I will give you the thumbs up button and subscribe. Thanks again!
What I found odd is that you just didn't pedal almost at all, at least on the film that's shown. Even when viewing your shadow you didn't seem to pedal at all. Did you consider doing a range test with you pedaling?
The color screen almost has me sold I know that's petty
for the algorithm! :P
Are you using it for the next 24hrs at Glen Helen? ;-)
When your e-bike is more expensive than your motorcycle lol
And this is bottom of the pricing on these haha
@@TortureTestMagazine TBH this is a bit wild for me... But if this one will hold for about 2-3 years, I suppose its a deal.
Lol
