You can change the strength of the clutch springs to make the clutch engage sooner or later. I'd like to hear your thoughts on Teflon vs Aluminium clutch shoes.
I see Ben! True! you're not a fire starter, your problem solver a liquid nitro problem solver 😁👍🏻

I had the same issue with my MP9. One of the shoe springs failed, so one of the shoes would always being against the bell on tickover.
Used some 0.95mm springs which are a bit stronger and all ok.

@@HaggardRC i tried everything mate, i ended up using a pencil blowtorch to heat the bell super hot and vice grips to yank it off, it took 3 attempts but got it off in the end. it was the inside bearing that had gone

Kyosho mad force when starting the engine and throttle, the engine sounds strained and wants to die, then I release the throttle and accelerate again and when it slams, the car moves forward. I have checked the clutch but find nothing that is wrong.

I reckon the problem that viewer is having is its running a too high idle.

He’s fixed it it was a broken clutch spring I believe

just to recap, if this viewer force stops the car on the ground (because it kept going on idle) the engine would then stall, meaning his idle was perhaps a bit on the lower side.
if the idle was high, and he tryed to force stop the car from moving forward, the engine would keep running.
i've had the same problem myself a few times and in both cases a clutch spring or multiple springs where simply broken, so any RPM the engine would run at meant that the clutch shoes would fling out and engage inside the clutch bell. I tryed lowering the idle to the point where i couldn't keep it running at all so.. that said, do you still think its due to the idle.. lol
