This freestyle serves as Eminem’s pre-Recovery warning shot. Em uses the beats for Drake’s Over and Lloyd Banks‘ Beamer, Benz or Bentley to announce his intentions to return to the top of the rap game.
This was also, in part, a response to a challenge issued by Rick Ross, calling out Em' to battle. After Ross heard this, he instead decided to collaborate. - Hudba

I remember hearing this beginning of summer 2010 right before Recovery came out and just being in awe of how thoroughly he murdered the Drake and Lloyd Banks beats. I knew Recovery was gonna be nothing but a masterpiece after hearing this track as a teaser. And indeed it was.
