- Family and supporters of detained WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange refuse to give up the fight to stop his extradition to the U.S., despite losing another appeal in a London court recently. Assange is wanted by U.S. authorities on 18 criminal counts.

He didn't do any work as a journalist, he just dump data that put people life at risk, he is a ruzzian asset.

My countrymen are too naive to understand that the U.S. governments interests are only in maintaining power, increasing control and of course sloppily "covering up" heinous government activity. It just makes it plainly obvious to everyone they have something to hide when they pull the "You can't show the world what we're doing so you're going to prison" maneuver.

The US govt went mask off & theres no going back. They sentenced an American citizen to a decade in prison for a meme. They sentenced a man for removing a temporary fence by the capitol to 17 years. Yeah, not sure what’s going on with CBC. They had a great roundtable of real-estate owners and renters on not long ago and revealed that Airbnb is the primary issue causing the housing crisis in Canada.

Julian should be pardoned the same way Chelsea Manning was. This has gone on too long. He did more good than harm in the world. Enough is enough. Free the man already. He has a young family waiting for him.

"bad behavior" is a reason to be arrested and treated with charges of "bad behavior" not to be transferred into the ruthless hands... of the US government.

The reason why charges have not been dropped is that powerful people don’t want them dropped. He is not an American and has to the best of my knowledge has never been to the USA. In short he has no duty to obey our laws. The UK should deport him to Australia.

As a journalist I believe journalism is very credible in Canada. Ethics are maintained by the Canadian Association of Journalists. The propaganda and foreign interference to undermine and discredit journalism is very strong.
