Great recipe, I don't add as much oil, but my fish is usually in the fridge for two days.

So fun to watch you fish. 166 shad are a lot to process in one day. Do you freeze some whole to be processed and used later? I wonder freezing them with guts will affect the flavor or not.
Also, instead of using a heavy duty rod, do you think holding the main line with a long, thick bamboo pole can work? Just toss out the weight with the main line attached. Haha. Your method looks really fun.

Catching shad fish it’s lotta fun, nonstop action,
I only kept 20 sheds for myself the rest of them. I gave them away to my friends and relatives,
Sometimes when I catch more than that one year we caught 600 fishes I freeze them as a whole for crabbing and shrimping bait.
Heavy duty rods i used to catch sturgeon with them, Sturgeon fishery being closed from the bank for 12 years now heavy duty fishing roads become very useful for shed, you can try something else if you don’t want spend so much money on fishing rods they are very expensive.
Thank you for watching and thank you for your support🙏👍

What kind of oil do you use so there’s no cooking involved

Sorry, I forgot to name the oil I use,
In Ukraine, we were using sunflower seed oil or sesame seed oil, I think any said oil will work.

Interesting method. Looks like a lot of fun and work at the same time. What size dick nites do you find most effective? Thanks for sharing!
