Saw your review on Amazon so I went ahead and got one. So far I really like it. I especially like how I bought 1000 bags (in 4 different sizes) for $83.00.
Thanks for the comment John McClanaghan! your thoughts are appreciated...

What a beautiful looking machine! Thanks for the great review/video.
Thanks for the comment Brenda C! your thoughts are appreciated...
At least it's not another damned DZ-260C OEM sealer with an oil vacuum pump! The Avid Armor uses an oil-free vacuum pump (rocker-piston, rather than dry scroll), which means NO MAINTENANCE EVERY TIME YOU USE IT! Thanks for the review, brother. Will check it out further.

Nice vid. Looks like a sweet little vac sealer. Make another vid on it sealing water and/or other liquids :-)
I will if i can fit it into another video..
Great video, thank you.
thanks
If I hadn't ordered the A100 (based primarily on your videos) I would've probably gotten this bad boy.
Thanks for the comment trevor perrydore! your thoughts are appreciated...
This is a very helpful review, thank you. I am looking specifically for a chamber vacuum sealer that can handle retort pouches (mostly for soup). Do you know if this machine can handle retort pouches? Or do you know what home chamber vacuum sealer is best-equipped for retort pouches?
only commercial type chamber sealers with adjustable seal times can do those.. this is a good one and you can get $100 off, free shipping, and no tax if you do not live in NY if you use the code "fireandwater" at checkout - jvrinc.com/shop-all-products/packaging-equipment/vac100-vacuum-sealer
For all of the chamber vacuum sealers you’ve reviewed and used, if you could pick only one to keep as your personal unit, which brand and model would you choose, and why? Our kitchen is tiny, and I might have to keep my unit (when I decide which brand and model to get) in a nearby hall closet on a rolling cart. In my scenario, which lighter-weight model would you choose? While I’m impressed with the VacMaster series of chamber vacuum sealers (they just seem to be very robust), the bulk and weight of those machines might be prohibitive (due to my age and joints). Thank you for another awesome video!
I personally use the Avid Armor chamber sealer as my go to now.. it is more compact, lighter, and works really good for home use. amzn.to/2UosneK
Fire & Water Cooking - One might be concerned that the unit comes with replacement parts. Have there been enough failures that Avid Armor felt the need to provide these as part of the initial package? Should I be concerned or comforted? Also, do you plan to offer a video demonstrating how to change out the sealing bar and the seal? Thanks again!
Do you find the inside height limitation of the Avid Armor compared to the Vacmaster a problem? Steaks and stuff wouldn’t be an issue, I’m just thinking roasts would be a problem?
Not Woke no...
Thanks for the video.
I am trying to find out what the maximum inside height for food would be.
Reading the info it says 3.5 inches. This I suppose would be the bottom portion with the lid making more headroom.
Canadian here so need to make sure I spend the "exchange dollars wisely.
Also, can you give the wattage of the vacuum motor.
Thanks for any info.
why? the max bag size is 11" x 15".. yes, the top height is 3.5"...
@@FireWaterCooking Thanks for the reply.
Well, why is to do with spending money.
"An educated consumer is your best costumer".
Now I do realize I will not be a costumer of yourself but I would be a potential one of the manufacturer.
Thanks again.
Well, the "Why" I was asking is if the information was already there, why you were wanting me to measure it for you to make sure? LOL Thanks for watching!
Check Amazon but they don’t have this unit listed for sale
they are out of stock until February... they were so popular they sold out of them on their 1st run.. avidarmor.com/avid-armor-ultra-series-usv32-chamber-vacuum-sealer-system/
I just now received my Avid Armor Chamber Vacuum Sealer, and there was a loose piece rolling around inside the chamber bay. It has a metal top and plastic bottom. The top has a yellow sticker that says “Remove for cleaning-PULL”...but it had already dislodged from something. I’m assuming it needs to be inserted into the hole beneath the heating element? Is that right? There is nothing in the manual about this piece. Thanks for any help!
yes, remove the sealing bar and there is a hole under it.. it goes there to plug the hole..
Fire & Water Cooking - So insert and push all the way down? Thanks for your super-quick reply!
@@dannymcneal yep
Fire & Water Cooking - Worked perfectly! Still dialing in the times, but for the Avid Armor bags, I used 6 seconds. Funny, the manual says that 6 seconds is default, but when I fired it up for the first time, it was set on 5 seconds. Oh well, easy to set and then it remembers. Thanks again!
make sure the bags sit on top of the 2 black tabs on the sides and the middle tab is inside the bag.. that will let it evacuate the bags easier..
Can this seal something like shampoo bottles for shipping?
Thanks for the review!
yes it can..
Fire & Water Cooking thanks! I went with the a100 model!
I have that one also and use it for large items that will not fit in the chamber vacuum
If that's all your looking to do, you're better off just buying an impulse sealer and skipping the vacuum part. They're an order of magnitude cheaper.
Mike Trieu thanks for the suggestion. I’m using this for multiple things.
Avid armor us32 or vac master ?
the vacmaster in this same price range is horrible... the vp200
@@FireWaterCooking what about the vp215 or vp220
@@abudesai3762 there are better options that are cheaper in that class of sealers - czcams.com/video/SRsq0Pp0Gw0/video.html
@@FireWaterCooking thanks for your help.
The Avid armor how would you compare the performance of it to the Vp215 or 220? Or the JVR one. Is it better to get the avid armor and save money? Or are these expensive unit worth the extra $$$
@@abudesai3762 it is like comparing a small economy car to a 4x4 pickup truck.. you need to consider what you will be using it for and how often.. you are comparing commercial units that are made for heavy use to a home unit made for occasional use..
sooooo can you send me one of the chamber machines that you already reviewed? There is no way that you are using all of these different types of machines. Hook a SISTA up lol
LOL!
Hello, I have some doubts; comparing the VP 210 and the Avid Armor chamber sealer, which do you think is more powerful? Have you tried vacuum packing longer bags in reverse, placing the bag outside the chamber and the end of the bag passing over the seal bar on the inside? I give you a link, so you can see
:
czcams.com/video/NR_rzrZ-ef8/video.html
Finally, if you would have to choose a vacuum chamber and you do not care about the cost and weight of the machine, would you buy an oil pump or a dry pump machine, bearing in mind that a dry pump machine may last less.
Thank you very much for all your videos
Greetings from Argentina
the vp210 is more powerful as it has a stronger pump. The avid armor is aimed at the home user, not the commercial user like the vp210.. My favorite chamber seal is the vac100 that i have done videos on, it offers the best of both worlds in my opinion - czcams.com/video/0yxppSArCJ4/video.html
