Do you fuse the layers after you paint on top of the wax?
The paint goes UNDER the wax actually! Then I fuse the wax on top, yep!

They are hot wax!

R&F and Enkaustikos make wax paints with beeswax damar resin and pigments. You can also make your own paints using beeswax (filtered white) in pellet or block form and oil paints. paints. Lots of books and videos available. Here on youtube look up Wax on Wednesdays.... she has lots of encaustic videos
