There's a theory that Kali/Escrima came from India via the Majapahit/Sri Vijayan empire or the Sepoy during the british occupation of Manila, and the Philippines blend it with other Martial arts from other regions like China, etc. I can see the similarities between Kali and this style, and I do hope many people will practice this martial art too.

The pattern on the floor movement is semi circular right, semi circular left, its called cambio in tagalog. The philippines marts do have origin in indian martial arts , the visaya tribe in philippines (origin from vijayanagara empire) .you have mixed many things into one video..some factual and some pure fiction...but entertaining.
