Hello people! Guess what?! I am not dead! :D
I haven't uploaded a vid for about 5 months (but I highly doubt anybody missed me or my vids tbh..). Actually I really thought about quitting it at all (uninteresting story) but oh well, here we go again. I just cannot live without vidding. (:
I've never really vidded Merlin before but this show has been one of my absolute favs for a looong loong time but I just never got the chance to vid it. :(
But now I finally can vid it and.. I am so happy about it. I wanna cry! :'D
and now to the vid:
I was searching for a great song to vid Merlin because he is just my fav character (and there aren't not thaaaat much videos about him/or I am too stupid to find them) and then I suddenly stumbled over this song.
I don't even know why... it is actually such an overused song and I never thought about Merlin while listening to it but then I payed a little more attention to the lyrics and zaaaaaang
This song literally screams Merlin!
There is so much pain and frustration in his life. He can't really show who he is and everybody's trying to make the fool out of him.
But somehow he always manages to stay up again and rises from the ground again. (see what I did there? xD)

(and oh god, I NEED SEASON 5! NAO!)
I really hope the video didn't turn out to be too "moanful".
I wanted to portray his strength! And I hope I succeeded (or at least maybe a little bit..?)

I have just watched the whole series again and I still think it is the best TV series ever. So powerful, so moving, yet lots of fun, such a strong storyline and a fitting end about a beautiful friendship between two amazing characters. Great acting, wonderful sets. It has it all.
I watched this with a heavy heart. It's beautiful, but a painful reminder of how much we miss Merlin.

This is so beautifully edited, and really showed all the strength that Merlin had, and how nothing stopped him, he was just such an incredibly, inspiring character and I loved this video so much, amazing!
All the feels ;________; I just finished the entire series and I'm so not satisfied with the ending ughhh. Now I'm just trying to make up for this empty sadness by watching fan vids and bloopers sigh. I wish they made a new series with the same cast. This was definitely one of my favorite shows.

Colin Morgan and Bradley James are amazing. anyone who disagrees FIGHT ME. I think this show probably beets Harry Potter
Probably...I personally would say definitely. I'm all about characters & relationships. And Merlin & Arthur alone beat anything in Harry Potter. The love & respect they had for each other was palpable. Hell, Merlin & Gwaine, Merlin & Gaius, Merlin & Lancelot better than any of the relationship building in Harry Potter. That might have to do with the age difference of the casts, I don't know. But I felt more for the characters in Merlin than Harry Potter. 🤷♀️ And that's what gets me to really love a film or tv show, if I feel something for the characters.
I like the Harry Potter series but this is in a different league.
