You know, you make a great argument. However, now core is useful for those who dislike or are bad at derby as they may need credits and core is one of the few ways to obtain them. Private servers have been free for at least a year by now, as long as you’re there you won’t have to worry about the core being set off. Some people do it for entertainment, others do it as a celebration for reaching a milestone. (So like someone might explode the core with 124.7T, find the boat, and unlock the next car that way.) Some are on the badge hunt and want both of the energy core escape badges, others do it for video content. The core really isn’t a selfish game mechanic, some just don’t like it.
@@xXAustin_JamesXx I think it should be consent based. Like there should be a option to send the player to a "baseplate" area (generated per player) to continue with the grinding until the facility is back
