Wow, a lot of good food for under $30 bucks. Love the sashimi section, look very fresh. Todai used to be one of the best Japanese buffets so far , but all US’s locations are closed . Ok, have a great Sunday David! 👌😆

We've been here many times and it's always a great place to get your sushi and seafood fix. It would cost you so much more to buy crab legs and oysters on your own so it's definitely worth the price. @@DavidSriracha yeah that’s true but they’re expensive. the ones that you can get your money’s worth is AYCE buffet at the palms but it cost $65 and you have to wait in line for at least 2 hours. there is another one at imperial sushi and seafood buffet for $43 but they are very stingy. they give u bits and pieces at a time, you can’t select the one you prefer and most of the time it is empty haha.. they have sashimi too but they only give you 3 pcs at a time…i would trade all the buffet we have here for kimson at any given day especially for the price and value of what i can get.

@@DavidSriracha We didn't try the crawfish @ Kim Son because we went to the lunch buffet on Saturday. We did however try the Crawfish & Noodles restaurant. The noodles were good but I personally think our version of the Viet-Cajun Crawfish is better 😋. The food scene in Houston is very impressive, pretty much all kinds of food to eat. I will definitely be back for a foodcation & will use your channel as a guide. Keep up the great videos buddy 👍

me again, so, anytime i have ever had crawfish on an asian buffet, it was made from frozen, often freezer burned, from that region and very rubbery and bland, unless they cook it in a lot of spices, but if you try American crawfish, even if its frozen, there is a huge difference. way better. ok, back to the video. i hope you dont mind me pausing to comment, but its a compliment to your filming. ;-)

ack! at 11:30 you need to remove the membrane from the crab meat. i paused it so i dont yet know if you noticed that or if you swallowed it. ok, im going to hit “play” now. lol.. ok, so you ate and swallowed it but did seem to spit some out later, so thats good. but listen.. .just bend the lower part of the leg and pull and it will pull out the membrane, but leaving only meat in the leg. ok? and you an just gently snap the leg in half (vs cutting) and it should come out as one long piece, but hey, theres no right or wrong way, but there are quicker and easier ways to get to those legs. love your videos!

How exactly did you know that the crawfish were frozen? How would they have looked if they were fresh?

Live boiled crawfish is like gold and the only buffet that I know in Houston that offers it is Kim Son buffet 😅 hope this helps and Happy New Year 🎉

Dude, you're opening those crab legs all WRONG! It's annoying!
First, you need to pull off the small leg joint to pull out the long cartilage. The you take the main leg piece and snap it in half, then you can pull out the big piece of meat out in one piece.

Asians think the best thing for dessert is beans. Go figure. I am against hot sauce but the only thing I think it's appropriate on is raw oysters. You have to disguise that taste! I would never put salt and pepper on fresh crab. Fresh crab should be eaten with great cocktail sauce and lemon juice. I don't think I'd go to this buffet as it doesn't carry much that I would eat.
