Get in and tighten the belts with Jos Goodyear and the GWR Raptor with a supercharged 1340cc Suzuki Hayabusa engine giving 480bhp and the whole car weighing in at an incredible 290kgs.
Martin Groves is the outright record holder at Shelsley Walsh with 22.58 seconds with Scott Moran next up with 22.83 seconds but the onboard camera of Goodyear is the best we've seen in a while...all the way through to returning back down the hill.

Yesterday, 15 Aug 2021 I had the pleasure of seeing Sean Gould set a new record of 22.37. This at least gives some idea of what that must be like from the driver’s view.
I don’t know what looks like more fun, the run up or the coast back down.

"160 km/h" is the start of the acceleration
"236 km/h" is the mid
"233 km/h" is the finish... Really, I thought I would have to just put the km/h in this

I'm having trouble believing the 100mph bit is accurate at the start....
Do some research. Acceleration of these cars is phenomenal.
@@chrisb8075 I used to track marshal some 30 years ago and the single seaters were amazingly quick then.
