I'm excited for the highlighter too, but I already have liquid Becca highlighters that can create the same effect. Lol I just need to apply a tiny amount to create the same look. If I ever run out of highlighter, I would get Rare Beauty's highlighter. It's stunning. Lol She said it disappeared, but it was still there after the 8 hour mark.
I personally never thought of Rihanna for her makeup and now we’re all glad she came to the makeup scene. And that’s why I’m so happy to see Selena come out with her own line.
Youre totally right. And all of the Rare Beauty products go together seamlessly, and they all make a lot of sense. It honestly seems like a pretty good brand, and one more brands could do some of the things they're trying to do.
Finally a non-biased review from those large influencers that received a box in PR and I love how you are so honest and review the actual makeup.
When i think of selenas makeup I think of minimal, fresh, bold lip. And that's exactly what her brand is so I think she did great
I just love her and what she stands for. I am not surprised she has her own line like them all. She has lupus like I do I relate that way. I love the packaging ! It’s more for like plain looks like
I got almost all the products and so far I love every single one of them... the eyebrow pencil is one of my favorites ... I’m 46 years old and the foundation made my skin look fresh and healhty! I didnt get the primer or concealer. I used my regular primer (for pores) and double ware concealer...and I set it with maybelline fit me loose powder... and used Morphe setting mist! I used the blushes and I loved them!! I was out all day in extreme hot weather wearing a mask. And it didn’t transferred at all! I got the blot and glow kit.. and I used once .. really loved it! I totally recommend base, blushes, eyebrows, lip souffle and the blot and glow! ❣️❣️✨🥰

So on point! Very Parisian vibe. Which of course is on trend because of the times we are living in, everyone has to wear masks. Who is going to do full glam anymore? It just looks soo effortlessly chic, no fuss beauty. Selena was smart in launching this line at this moment.
I am honestly so interested in this brand, just because everything is so my style. I also feel like the fact we can’t get it Australia just makes me want it more. I was hoping we would get it when it was released like we did Fenty but we didn’t, not sure when (or if) we are getting it.
I got a couple liquid lips, one of the balms, and a blush sample. I've only swatched the lip colors and they're more brown than I expected, which isn't necessarily bad. I'm super white with red undertones, so finding lippies is hard for me. But, I think these are going to work. I totally impulse bought these items..... her PR team did good. But you know what, I also never thought in a million years I'd try KKW Beauty, but I did buy a lipstick after seeing the shade.......... and OMG, its the most perfect lipstick in the world. I got one for my mom and she was also floored... you just never know. And the KKW Beauty lipstick is in the pink collection, its warm mauve. I think it would be beautiful on a lot of different people.
A lot of people talk about “bacteria and germs” because of her foundation applicator yet they use concealers application and apply it like nothing.🙄
as long as your face is clean, it shouldn't be an issue. If you apply it to a dirty face, then you might get some contamination in your products.

I was interested to see what the line would look like because I agree, she isn't really known for her makeup. The blushes and the lip souffles look like something I might like to try.
Thanks for mentioning where the products are made. I have a lot of cosmetics from Asia and had a feeling the blushes and lip products were made in Korea. They're what I was most interested in, but I already have a ton, so I think I can safely skip.
I also appreciate your honesty. Most people only have praise for the line. I know not everything is perfect, so it's nice to hear what might not work for me.
I appreciate knowing where they’re made as well. Would never use anything made in China as they test on animals and use child labor 👎
The foundation really reminds me of how the hourglass veil primer feels. Like a powdery silicone feel. Very lightweight. Def needs a powder set in my opinion but it’ll be my new go to instead of my nars sheer glow for the time being

Your thumbnail is ADORABLE!!! And I love the subtle highlight. I think it’s a little weird that the blush is then SUPER pigmented!
Good Morning!! I think this line is very well done, with a wide range of products in a wide range of shades. I think this makeup is very pretty. The blush look you did was the best I’ve seen so far. I’m interested in this line but with my recent purchases of Pat McGrath & Natasha Denona, I’m not going to be purchasing anything at this time. When I think of Selena, she was always rockin’ a bold lip with her big smile. I was not surprised at the huge range of lip colors and formulas. I’m very surprised at this launch. The products seem high quality maybe between drugstore & luxury. I thought it looked beautiful on you. Love the lip color! 💚💜💚💜💚🥰🥰
I love love the Primer,Foundation and the Lip Souffle Matte Cream Lipstick. I have oily/combo skin and the foundation surprisingly lasted a whole day. I did set it with my Laura Mercier Setting powder though. But its really good.

I was very glad to see this video in my feed! I’m happy because I ordered shade 210 in both the foundation & concealer and was curious as to how the shade actually looks on the skin, so this was perfect for me to see. (I haven’t received my order yet). I tried the lip soufflé in Courage but the shade is too dark for me, although I enjoy the formula.
Overall, I’m not wowed by this line at all. I’m picky and it’s just meh for me at this point.
I totally felt the same way about selena and makeup.
I love your reviews, its espically nice for me as we wear the exact same color in foundation!!! I picked up the foundation so can't wait to try it. Think I may try the lippies now too!!🙌❤

thank u for this honest review morgan! i definitely think the only thing i’d be interested in is the foundation, bc it gives off my favorite finish and level of coverage! i will never understand the liquid highlight hype tho😩 i’m glad u somewhat agree haha. same with liquid blush, it takes me too long to blend in so i’ll stick with my powder blushes and highlights, if anything colourpop super shock gives me that glowing from within look

I’ve been watching tons of Natasha denona reviews I’m tired of it now! So I came to watch something different. I like your honest review.
Maybe you have a point, that when you think of crazy makeup Selena will of course not make in the list. But that's what her makeup line is about - being natural and accentuate natural glow.
I liked your video! If you use a very thin brow brush with the pencil, like the one from ABH to draw faux hair, the product really stands out. The formula is really very good, once it dries it does not move all day and it is waterproof (I tried it in the heavy rain one day when I didn't have an umbrella). Hugs from Colombia!

I found that the foundation dried down a LOT and went from having a nice light looking natural almost feet look to being very matte. It looks nice, but needs a very hydrating primer for me
The key is an actual good moisturizer and prepping skin no matter what. Primer helps but primer doesn’t create a base for makeup it only helps the base to stay. I’ve read so many comments where I couldn’t help but notice people rely sooo much on their primer just for a foundation to be whatever they expect...I do recommend you to test this in various ways because it happened to me but I found the trick so it works different for everyone
Camila C I’ve tried this foundation with both moisturizer and hydrating primer together. I don’t mind this foundation, but a lot of people are talking about this faoundation as if it is hydrating or glowy and I haven’t found that to be the case for me. Just wanted others to have more info.

I bought mine yesterday from Sephora and they actually are good!! Maybe just not did you but they are worth the cash!!! Especially if you need a more natural look, the severe is use the brushes and don't apply a lot just little and build on it if you want more

Rihanna nailed it with Fenty even though I never saw her as a makeup person, Fenty is such as awesome brand. I can't say the same for Kylie despite the tons of makeup the Kardashians wear. I think Rare is not bad, the mascara and blushes are really nice.
The lip reminds me of the discontinued bite lip product I used to buy it was a lip cream in sherry. Kinda creamy. Would stain lips.
I like the light coverage of the foundation, i dont like a heavy coverage tho

My first order of a cpl products is supposed to arrive tomorrow, but I am not sure when it'll arrive. I want to try the primer and lip balm. I'm glad to hear that the packaging isn't glass cuz i am clumsy and would worry about it shattering

Like you I wasn't excited about Selena coming out with makeup. I'm not even a Selena music fan (I'm a goth, that's literally the only reason). But I was super intrigued when I actually saw what she was coming out with. I bought everything except the primer, setting spray, blotting kit, and liquid liner. And Sephora lost my package so its not coming til Friday now, LOL, thanks Sephora! But anyway, all the reviews I watched are making me happy I decided to order (and also now I won't have to mess up and put too much of those blushes on when I first use them cuz y'all already did that for me!!!). OH! I didn't get the brow product either cuz of everyone saying it was so creamy and thick.
One reason why I can totally see Selena doing makeup is the reason she said she came out with what she did. She has lupus so she wanted packing that she and others with autoimmune disorders can actually open!! And that's also why the brow product is so THICCCC, so people with those autoimmune disorders don't have to use too much pressure to get pigment!

Selena isn't so much into make up but do you all realize all these owners of big beauty brands don't even know how to apply make up, plus Selena's like is more of a natural look not the glamorous type, if you need a more natural look, then this is for you, If you like you make up screaming this isn't for yoy,the brand is vegan and cruelty free

Hello again Mrs. Your glowing! I feel The Selena line is better here’s for a young crowd or starter. I heard the line is by LoreL.
So was not coming back to CZcams till November and then the Glam palette arrived so I crept back and have a quick look at your review. I tried to be sensible and bought the mini thinking this would satiate me oh and the nude lipstick Called Charlotte 1. So now having thought I saved money and using the mini glam I want the big glam even more. So I will have ended up spending more than if I just bought the large Palette. Sigh. I am hopeless.
I feel your pain about people doing yard work at the wrong time. I like to sit out on my back patio to watch CZcams videos and it seems like every time somebody is mowing their lawn and I can hear it through my ear buds. While I was watching this video my one neighbor got done with his yard and literally 2 minutes later my other neighbor started mowing his yard. I was like are you freaking kidding me 😡😂. I think the blushes are really pretty but I don’t need another blush so it’s a pass for now. I’m just not interested in the rest of the products. I use liquid illuminizers under my foundation because I find if I put it on top it disrupts my foundation. Omg now a 3rd neighbor has started mowing their lawn. Kill me lol

Most big cosmetic brands are owned by business conglomerates who's owners are not even remotely or directly involved in Using cosmetics. So the premise of not seeing Selena as a make up person in relation to creating a make up brand sounds pretty petty.
I'm watching this because I watch everything you do because I love you! However, I have zero interest in these products. This entire line is so boring! When are liquid blushes and highlighters going to be over? Yawn! 😂
I think seeing liquid blushes & foundations only just hit their peek of their popularity it will be awhile, I personally love them but can understand why people wouldn’t like them.
