I have two of the Rampage and wow they sound great bass is insane for 8's.
My rampage 8 reminds me of my dad's old school Rockford 10s. Louder but they pack the same punch. Hits your chest more

It’d be fun to try out the m4 DC subs. I ran the m3 8s for a long while and they held up great. If you feed them clean power you can get a lot out of them.

After 1 year of having my rampage 8. My sundown sa 8 v3 ended up eating itself. Voice coil was shredded. B2. The rampage keeps getting louder. Hits harder. Different box so not necessarily louder but I think it might be. Rockford t1500 and keeps goings in 90+ degree heat. Still going strong with a strong punch
Ok yea. I’m late, just saw the unboxing minutes ago. The Ramp has a bigger spider and softer suspension overall, I’m guessing more accurate with the (pointy?) surround.
The M4’s profile is different but looks like could give similar results after break-in period. I’ve already seen how it gets low with power, but not sure how it compares musically to the Rampage. Nice weigh in👍

I have 4 rage 8s in a temporary box and they sound great. B2 audio for the win. I want to get the rampage 8 or 12 but them dc audio are awesome as well

I’ve never heard neither in person. The Rampage may edge out in musicality IMO because spider larger size matches the larger voice coil and cone area. The M4 is def grabbing lows but very stiff suspension usually means SPL. SPL + lows against high power musicality.

Yes, it definitely comes down to personal preference. The DC has more cone area, I believe, but since the B2 has a 2" voice coil, that spider can move!
@@Echodh2 Both are outta my league electrically if running a pair. But a pair of Rampage 8s would be my choice.
For me 1000-1200W in the trunk and a 500W multi for the cabin is just about perfect

I’m trying to decide between these 2 woofers for my crew cab right now. I only want to power them with 1000 to 1500 max total since they will be in a truck. Leaning towards B2 due to work in small enclosure and high sensitivity.
Are you gonna put 1000 to 1500 each or 1500 total?? The B2 needs more air space than the DC

@teamques OK you really need to do at least 1500 rms. Do you already have an amp? There's plenty of good quality amps that actually produce the rated power you can get for a good price. I would go with thr M4s due to power or the M3s would be even better of you don't have lots of power. I cam get you a DS18 3k amp for around 2 and change of interested that will put out 3k watts or one that will throw about 2000 total.
@teamques Also if your honna go with only 1000 for both I wouldn't suggest either woofer. They would be underpowered. A better option would be the B2 rage if thats the case
@@Echodh2 I’m willing to start off at 1500 until I get a bigger amp. Just want to future proof myself by changing an amp instead of both subs and amp.
hey :) so i looked for a b2 audio but now i found rage 8 V2 and rampage 8 v2. so for me they look exactly the same?! can you tell me whats the difference between rage and rampage?
Yes I have the rage in stock, I'll do a video later this week. Basically in easy terms, the rampage has a bigger motor, and can handle more power. They both will slam the lows and are very musical. Rage is better in my opinion because you can run more on less power and achieve similar results.
@@Echodh2 ahh ok. so i can use only 2 in a iso barik setup with an ampire mdb 3000.1d so it is better to use the rampage for me right? and the V2 has a stronger motor etc. but the v2 carbon is a different modell right?
That amp should give them close to around 1000 rms after impedence rise and voltage drop. @@gulliulli

What would be the lowest power for the b2?
I'd say minimum a 1000 rms or nore to get the full potential of the woofer. Id suggest a clean 1500
