Hello I want to bring to your attention that the new houston metro leadership appointed under mayor John Whitmire may scrap the new transit projects and that may include completely scrapping the new University BRT line. Along with this the mayor may use his new leverage to strip metro of their finances and degrade quality of service.
Please voice your concerns to your city council member along with all city council at large members.
And if you or anyone you know lives in senate district 15 please vote for Molly Cook as she is a transit advocate herself and can help provide houston with better transit services.
(District 15 areas includes montrose, all of northwest houston between 290 and 45, and Bellaire area south of uptown, and from Humble to bush airport to Atoscacita)
