Edit: too this comment since alot of people are still reading it I've had my ipad 9th gen since December of 2021 now and have since gotten an apple pencil and logetic combo touch keyboard case for it and I use it daily for pretty much everything and I absolutely love it for drawing, and light word processing and playing games on it,and I take notes in class with my apple pencil, something useful for keeping it toped off is using a battery wedget on the homescreen which shows both the apple pencil and ipad battery amounts, but overall it's a great tablet that I'd recommend to android users as well 😄

I recently picked up an iPad 9 and was considering Apple's Smart Folio Keyboard but that Logitech one looks much better with it's larger keys and back coverage. the Apple Pencil holder is a nice bonus. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

What is the name of the silicone cover? Like where did you get it?
I use the Apple Smart Keyboard (paired with a soft PU back case) because it’s perfect for how I use my iPad. I type enough that warrants a need for a keyboard but also need it to be mobile enough for my line of work. The Logitech ones are just too thick for me and coming from an iPad 5 using various bluetooth keyboards, not worrying about charging my keyboard is such a convenience for me. I also love that the Smart Keyboard can be folded like a normal trifold. This was one major point why I chose the iPad 9 over the Air. I wanted a keyboard that needs no charging, is light, and can be tucked away easily when I don’t need it.

I'm torn between getting an iPad 9 or waiting out for an Air 5, as the latter's not yet available where I live. The 9th gen's much cheaper and has everything I need, and the massive price difference really what's keeping me from getting that M1 chip. Your videos have been a huge help for me. Thanks!

Honestly, as much as I drool over the Air 5, I'm so glad I was gifted the 9. It's a MAJOR step up from my 1st generation Pro, even with the smaller screen. Yes, it still has the bezels and home button, but the two side bezels are MUCH slimmer than my old Pro, and even the top and bottom just kind of melt away into the background for me, since they're black on my silver 9 rather than white like they were on my gold Pro. I also cannot beat the price!
I also was gifted the Smart Cover for it because I'm just sick of cases covering up my tech. My mom had a cheap $20 case on her iPad, and it actually somehow managed to scratch her $1000 plus Pro 11 inch with the M1 chip. Oh, she was SO mad! She hasn't put a case on since. However, for $250 on sale, I especially don't mind if my iPad gets a little scratch here and there. The cover was also $10 off, so better value than usual. It's all I Want - something to cover the screen when not in use, but to be a stand or cover the back when in use. I think I'll have several good years out my new iPad. My Pro started crapping out on me two years ago, so I've ivery much missed having one!
Long ramble short, if you need a new iPad and can get this one, I highly recommend it.
From pro to the 9 th gen to pro is crazy but I agree with ur choise the 9th gen is very powerful and cheap at the same time I also got my 9th gen 2 months ago and I love it have fun with urs too

I’ve been thinking of getting AirPods. I have an iPad 9th generation. I haven’t finished the video so I don’t know if these are mentioned yet. I never watch videos on my phone so Im only concerned about which will work for my iPad. I think the AirPods 2nd generation will work with my iPad but I’m not sure, and I’d like to know for sure before I buy it, so I don’t have to go through the whole return process. I got the wrong Apple Pencil for my iPad and it was torture to go through the whole return process and I would rather not do it again. So if anyone knows please reply and tell me.
The paper film screen protector will ruin the Apple Pencil tip faster than the glass due to the friction and grit on the paper one.
Correct, that's the physics of the added friction and texture. It will wear down the pencil tip faster.
It aint that bad though. Im a teacher and use the pencil at least 40 hours a week. I switched the tip after 10 months. 4 new tips cost 25€. So it's ok!

I appreciate your content on the iPad 9, thanks for all your helpful advice. I'vew been looking for a stand I can affix my iPad to magnetically, but all of the product descriptions only mention the top of the line iPad models for compatibility. I know there are great clamp designs out there, but I also know I will not use them and if I do, they will eventually break. I just want to be able to set my iPad 9 next to my Mac monitor and use it to manage chat on livestreams, etc. Do you have some suggestions? If I could find my ideal stand, it would be magnet-only attachments and also somehow have a hub built into it so I can transfer files easily. That's a little pie in the sky, so I'll settle for the magnetic attachment. :)

It also has a customizable stand for the ipad! You can set the stand at any angles, which is great if you want to use keyboard shortcuts while drawing

When my older iPads are on their last update I’m planning on upgrading while I can get the best money value from selling and most use out of them. I like having the headphone jack for playing live music on my keyboard which is why I didn’t get the other options. Can’t lose keeping it until iPad os 16 either then upgrading.

I am still debating whether to go for an iPad mini 6th gen with A15 chip or get a ipad 9 with A13 chip plus a few accessories for the same price as the mini. I do want to use it for years to come but feel like the jelly scroll effect on mini might be a little annoying while browsing internet or watching youtube videos.
i think it depends on what are you planning to use the ipad for, and the main difference is the size

I honestly think the Bluetooth 3.0 keyboard is better than the Logitech Slim Folio for the iPad 9. It has lights which the logi doesn't pretty sure.
backlight is key. There is also the Logitech Folio Touch which has a trackpad.

Thanks to you and some other great influencers here, I have started my eco-system transition to Apple (my last Apple was a IIe - no kidding) from Window 10. Here is my new stable for use at school: Mac Mini-M1, iPhone-11 (new), and iPad 9th Gen. Along with a ton of accessories, my transitory adventure begins - wish me luck.
