No discussion of a midfielder coming in. Given Louza has gone out, I thought that would definitely be happening. Are we settling for Sierralta as Livermore's back up? I'm not sure I'd like to go with 5 recognised CMs to fill 3 spots for the rest of the season. Too much reliance on Livermore in particular. 1 injury to one of the favoured 3 could leave us very short and undermine the whole unit. I thought Camara from Udinese was the perfect shout when linked a few months ago and still do.
I signed Okereke on Football Manager when I cracked it out during the lockdowns. He was awesome. Doesn't look like he's quite there in reality. Still, could be an interesting transfer if it goes through.
If we can bag Okereke, Zedadka and Camara or another DM in the next 2 weeks I'll be happy. Pollock will have to do as 2nd back up. The whole left footed centre back thing is overblown.
Probably a good decision, sad to see him go as could have scored goals in a 2 but that's not our way at moment. Should be some money for another Val type striker now with Louza wages off the books? For me, we need cover for Jake as well as an option up top.

We need a quick striker who can score from anywhere not just in and around the 6 yard box.Someone two footed who can take a defender out with a piece of skill
I heard a rumour that Ince could be on his way out to a Turkish club which presumably would mean another wide man come in
We need a ingalo type of striker.

Main striker, experienced right back, back up DM. Don't need a left back right now with Lewis, Ken and Morris as back up.
Also, if they are all "back up," how can they be desperately needed?

@@benthornhill7903 you're right in the fact they aren't desperate. But I do think they're a higher priority than any others. An injury to Livermore or Andrews would leave us with very big holes to fill. I dont trust Lewis and Sema to stay fit and Morris can't play 90 minutes every week so a reinforcement would be nice, I also would rather not play Sema left back as he's wasted there.
