Nightwish is on my top favorite bands , but only with Marko and Floor . Why did Tarja leave this band ?
@@Edwin-pq6dg Basically Tarja was an asshole and his husband caused drama also all the time. The band could not get along with her anymore so she had to leave, they fired her.

@@Edwin-pq6dg Sorry without Tarja the band wouldn't have happened and nobody would know them today. Kicking Tarja out was her biggest mistake. They also got rid of the second singer, although she wasn't that great anyway. And Floor is good, but can't even begin to hold a candle to Tarja. For me Floor is at best a last resort.
I love Nightwish. I miss Tarja in the group, for me, her voice is unwavering and magical.

além de ser uma época sensacional do nightwish com tarja e marko nos vocais, a 20 anos atrás ainda se tinha bom gosto pra musicas nesse nosso brasil..
ia com uns amigos em uma rua quase deserta de 1 bairro de luxo da cidade com minha guitarra e muita bebida, a gente ficava horas e horas tocando e cantando nightwish, Soad, Evanescence, Green Day e demais bandas febres da época.. tempo bom q nao volta mais 😅
Também foi por essa época, 2004 ou 2005 no meu caso. De cara ouvi todos álbuns deles na época, nemo tava estourada.
2005 foi a melhor epoca, nemo era estourada, mas essa era lindo demais. Saudades de nightwish, saudades da tarja na banda ela passava tudo oque a banda precisava. A opera encaixava perfeitamente nessa banda.

The more time goes, the more I feel blessed that I discovered them so early in my life and grew with the love for them...
No offence to current Nightwish fans, but all these songs with Tarja have such an incredible feeling and emotion. The combination of her operatic vocals with heavy music gives an ethereal feeling. I hate to admit that those fans, who were saying that Nightwish had died in 2005 were right. Yes, the band still exists, but the music is not the same. It does not convey the same feelings, emotions, deepness. Glad that we have videos and albums to listen to and to appreciate that beautiful era.
Bands evolve. Listen to the years of the band that you enjoy most, but don't knock their evolution. They're all in different places in their lives now. Tuomas writes what he knows at the time I'm sure.

The cold operatic style of Tarja plus the superdimensional genius of Tuomas gave Nightwish the recognition that they're now benefitting. Without both together, not even the mastery or Hietala, Nevalainen and Vuorinen combined would take NW to where they are today.

Nightwish is like Deep Purple or Yes. These bands always had one real vocalist. Others weren't bad, but could not be as good as the true vocalist. Tarja jest absolutely amazing.

It's a really sad story.
This is the song that made me fall in love with heavy metal in 2002, along with some Sonata Arctica songs from back in the day. I still vividly remember listening to this at 11 years old for the first time while playing an old vampire browser game and I was hooked for life. Still appreciate many kinds and styles of music but metal is always the closest one to my heart, for having helped guide me through such tough times.
This… sounds so similar to me even though I would be much younger. I think I was always a few years behind and would discover music when it was a couple years old. I think Planet Hell was the first song I heard by them but this song and album very quickly became a mainstay as I played runescape or age of mythology as a small weird girl. I also loved sonata Arctica lol I think I ended up listening to a lot of Finnish metal because when I’d look just those two up on CZcams it would suggest the same.
Lol looking at the video now I’m certain her look here is what inspired my own attempts at style with makeup and hair
