Looks like "That guy" is just looking to see what David wants the girl to do, he wasn't like super skilled or anything, so to me it seems like it's just an average guy that knows how to shuffle a deck of cards is shuffling the deck while following what the other thing about the dice going on is all about.
Though when Dave himself is doing some shuffling he's doing it "the noob way", though "the noob way" can in one way be a little bit more of a "real shuffle". While doing it the normal("fancy") way it's more like every second card from the middle to the bottom, and every other second is from the top to the middle, however that's why you normally do it several times. The best way would be to do it both ways a few times each, while maybe also taking the bottom half and put it on top between every few shuffle or so.
But really, just doing it the normal way and then taking a bunch from the bottom and putting it on top and repeating it a couple of times is generally enough
@@ingainloggningsnamn the "noob" way is an overhand shuffle and it takes around 50 of those to properly shuffle the deck the "fancy" way is a riffle shuffle with a bridge and it only takes about 7 of those to properly shuffle the deck

Yeah, here he is looking for it 3:49 sticks it to the top of the deck and puts the ace on top of that. Then takes them both and flips them both over together whilst moving his hand side to side quickly so the ace ends up face down and puts that one back on the deck 😲

I see this a lot here, but how can she 1) pick a card (a specific one) if he moves the cards so fast? and 2) even if she pics one from the ones he is flashing so fast, now which one she picked?
Jan Shegers the idea is that on the first riffle, she doesn't see a card. so that on the second riffle, she is more focused and determined to see a card. on the second riffle, it's slowed down slightly and the card below the force card is injogged making it display for just a fraction of a second longer. David knew there was a problem from the first riffle and took the risk.

It's a very common trick. And works everytime unless your spectator fucks up big time.
it is not! If it was a good trick you would not be able to fuck it up. If you use a trick that depends on the audience you are taking a huge risk! That is how it works. Same with mentalist: they can get a serious burn if they are dealing with smarter people or people that know what is up. He messed up here and should have known something was wrong.
3:49 he's looking for six of hearts in the deck. Saved the trick wonderfully, while everyone was distracted and laughing at the "failed" magic trick. That's why he's the greatest.
He saved it? I mean, the average person saw what he did so that's not saving the trick. It's maybe saving the embarrassing performance otherwise.

Nivesh Proag He saw the trick didn't go as planned, as he was talking to the crowd he looked for the original card, then he performed a quick slight of hand trick to flip the correct card over the incorrect card.

It's not that she forgot her card, it's that she just made one up, and that ruined the trick.
He made her see the cards he wanted her to use, but she didn't see them and instead, like I said before, made one up.
I will say that David was probably being too fast for his own good.

@@nope-qi8zx I have a pretty solid evidence that will make sense to you especially if you are a magician, when david riffles the shows only one card to the girl and he takes a peek at it too. So he knows she was supposed to be thinking of I think it was the "6 of spades". Lateron he forces card meaning he spreades the deck and let spectator choses the 6 of spades, my guess is this is the point where david messed up, that he forced the wrong card because when david asked the girl what was the card and she said the 6 of spades, he wasn't surprised, he knew it was the card and he thought he had it.
If the girl was supposed to see another card at the beginning then david would immediately, search for that card in the deck and won't be so confident that the card in the table in the right card.
I know this doesn't negate the fact that blaine is amazing magician, but I just don't like the shit load of hate the girl is getting from these ignorant people in comments.

She didn't forget the card he did whats called a "force" by ruffling through the cards that quickly he briefly stops on one for a little longer than the rest in order to inadvertently force them to pick it. However the girl didn't even look at the cards she simply thought of one in her mind and choose it so the forced card didn't get picked thus the trick failed.

This is the hard part. You usually only see the best moments
When the guy was shuffling the cards it looks like he put some in his shirt and you could see people in the back laughing.
Wow the second trick is genius. I think I figured it out.
Basically he forces the first two cards and then has the other girl pick the queen that we see in the end. He needs her to pick the queen specifically and not the 2 of clubs, since we find out the queen is holding the two of clubs in the art of the card. The girl doesn't fall for the force at first, so he makes her do it again by saying "no one ever does switch". Now she has the queen, and David's job is done. He has her give it to the other two women and tells them to switch it back and forth. See, the important part of the trick is that the trick works EITHER WAY. It doesn't matter who gets the card since, technically, she is holding both cards. Going back to the beginning of the trick, he asks for two GIRLS. This is important because he keeps saying, she is holding the card. he changes the meaning of "She" from the women who picked the cards and the queen on the face of the card. So even if the other woman would have ended up with the queen and turned it over, he could have done the same reveal and just said, no I said SHE is holding your card and revealed the queen had the two of clubs. Obviously the way he did it gets a better reaction, but sometimes you have to take that risk for an amazing trick. What a genius
