This is so eye opening! I’m a nursing student but also a PKD diagnosed (about 2/3 yrs now) patient and the Dr.’s just said here are some hypertension meds and that’s it. I always thought I needed to stop eating protein because some was found in my urine, I’ve never been told to eat more! I’m currently learning a out the urinary tract and Renal right now and I’m learning so much from Professor D’s videos. I’m a little scared because I want to take care of my kidneys best I can with PKD but I know there is no cure and eventually I will need a transplant, just want to prolong the life and function and be able to help others with the same disease.

Provider D, I lean on your material hard. Not for the answers but for the logic you discuss on WHY that is the right answer. Level 1, I was all about memorization, period.
