Yu Suzuki - Tokyo Game Show 2021 Interview

It is hard to overestimate the impact Yu Suzuki made on video games and entertainment in general. He was kind enough to introduce us to the virtual attendees of the Tokyo Game Show. We would like to release his interview and honour his creative genius. Yu Suzuki has a story to tell and we would like you to listen.

You should worry more about Shenmue 3 and Shenmue 4 being successful than being on Xbox... it is obvious that PS4 had the largest install base at over 120 million PS4s sold around the time Shenmue 3 came out... and as such if Shenmue 4 ever gets made you should hope that it is made specifically for PS5 just like older games Yu Suzuki made for Sega hardware systems because these games were not platform agnostic.

When I think of the greatest game studios to ever exist, I think AM2. And, without Yu Suzuki there would be no AM2. Whatever it is Yu and the crew are working on, I know it will have his signature attention to detail imprinted on it. I anticipate seeing what the team at YSnet has learned and improved on having a better understanding of Unreal Engine since 2019. Here's hoping for great successes to come in the future!
