- Yes... I know I said I wouldn't upload this, but after a ton of guilt and thought, this is lost media that deserves to be preserved. So as a big milestone for the lost media community, here is the full thing.
"What've you got there Jake?" "A knife!" "NOOOO!" "Why are you shouting?" "I don't know.. It just felt like the right thing to do."
Woah! Phantomstrider i didn’t see you here!
It's the legendary Aussie in an orange shirt! Can I get your autograph?! 😃😃😃😃
Hey, Strider! I JUST saw your video where you talked about this short.
I came here because of the video you posted today
It's Australias Nr1 Reviewer
Lmao when Judy said "put the knife down" like she was a police negotiator
Probably the reason why this never aired 😅
@@xTwilightWolvesx yes this reason! and how she put the knife away at the end by just leaving it there in the chopping board where he can easily pull the knife out again 🤣
"Put the knife down!"
"Okay, ummm....you're bad at cutting through stone!"
"Uggh, so not what I meant."
I love how the teacher acts like Jake, the 4 year old, is about to go on a rampage when she sees him with the knife.
"Jake... Put the knife down."
mate he’s only 3
@@williamevans62773! JEEZ
"Put the knife down, Jake. Nobody has to get hurt, Jake..."Give us the hostage Jake, nobody needs to be hurt more than they already have Jake..."
Max is the hostage
yeah okay tell Jake the knife is dangerous but that’s pretty shit safeguarding at tweenies nursery. kids left unattended, kitchen door unlocked, utensils out on the oven and the knife just sitting there, nothing cleared up. judy should be sacked lmao
Where was the hand over?
Jake not wrong a knife is a great sword
Someone please report them to Ofsted! 😢
i think few of us have @@pinkdiamond1847
Probably the reason this episode never aired 😅
“Please put the knife down” in that tone is something I never thought I’d hear in a preschool show.
It would be the right tone to use with a young child, so as not to scare them, potentially causing an accident just from the panic response! Also, Positive Behaviour management teaches that "if you shout you have already lost"!
@@KatMusic2009 okay, that’s understandable, and I didn’t really expect her to yell, but it’s still pretty funny.
Judy showing fear was a big mistake. They're lucky Jake didn't realise the power he had when holding a knife...
You can tell the show is British because of the enthusiasm when Jake says "KNIVES!"
Well the UK is well known for murder mysteries, and a lot of knife crime. Although ironically maybe banning the episode may not have been ideal.
"I'll put it here out of harms way"
Proceeds to put it in a spot all the children can reach
I love that the song acknowledges that knives are shiny and cool looking despite their danger. Yes it's not safe, but damn ain't knives awesome?
The way Judy says what are you doing Jake makes it sound like he is going to to go on a rampage
Congratulations for finding it. It's been many years since it got lost. And right now, you finally found the missing piece of the puzzle.
4:40 "Knives are all shiny, they look REALLY cool!" Suddenly, I feel like playing with knives 🤔
Had we looked into the future and realised that knife crime was rampant in the UK, then we would've kept this on air.
The latest knife crime stats I can find are from 2019 but it's not much different from 2002 (the year this was produced).
It didn't help. Twenty years on Jake became a renowned roadman in the Brixton area and is now facing a twelve to life stretch, if his defence council cannot convince the jury that it was an act of manslaughter and not murder.

2023 is looking to be a great year for lost media
Yes like Firehouse Tales and Frances Cartoonito UK airings, Blips & Boohbah the complete series to name a few. Hopefully they'll be found and bought to CZcams in the 2020's.
For some reason I think Blameitjorge has to include this for lost media found in 2023
I’m going to be disappointed if he doesn’t for some reason

John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Mark 1.15
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

please someone upload a backup. i dont want this found piece of history to be lost again
I’ve downloaded it!
I'm glad Milo and Jake didn't play with knives together.
That's great that you decided to change your mind and upload the episode after all. I remember seeing this as a kid and it was quite shocking to see Jake swinging around a knife like it was a toy. I can to a degree understand why it got banned.
They should air this again what with all the knife crimes in England rising up.
Also, had no idea this was lost. Good find
If only they didn't ban this episode knife crime would be non-existent 😢
Nobody
Jake: “Knives!”
I had to find this after someone told me it'd been banned. I can't see why, but it is really funny the way Judy says "put the knife down" like it's a hostage scene or Jakes about to go on a mass killing spree or something 😂😂
I'm Glad This Episode Has Been Found And Thanks For Uploading This
So am I!
thanks so much, now we have access to all episodes of be safe with the tweenies
Hands down, the best part was their song for the last minute!
KNIVES, KNIVES, KNIVES, KNIVES! IT'S HARD TO BE SAFE AROUND KNIVES.
I can understand why this was banned. A kid could see Jake carrying a knife talking about how great it would be for sword fighting and then for whatever reason, not watch the full episode and then have that idea in their head. Or they might even get inspired by Jake's idea to use a knife and go and run off to try it out for themselves before finishing the episode.
I love the Tweenies and am glad that Jake learnt about knives
Yeah well after all he can only use the knife when he's older. As old as Max let's say.
@@ryanmackenzie9760 yes, but even grown ups have to be careful with knives
2:20 For some reason, I find it funny, the way Jake calls “Max! Maxi! Where are you?” 😂
"Knives Are Unsafe." - BBC
Honestly it's Judy who's in the wrong for leaving a knife just lying around in easy reach of little kids
Really great lesson. 🙂 I should have this in my mind more often regarding my anxiety with knives nowadays.
I don't recall this episode, but it only feels like yesterday watching this, the time really does fly by
That's because this episode never aired
It was cut, ironically
Well done for finding this lost Be Safe with the Tweenies short: Knives
Love the safety song about knives 4:06
I never thought I'd ever get to see this again, thank you so much. I always remember watching this on Cebeebies
Woah! Thanks so much. I always thought this was never shown.
I've heard that it was banned because it gave off bad morals about knives.
I downloaded the video just now, just in case it gets deleted, which I hope does not happen.
I have a story related to this video.
One time I wasn't paying attention while doing the washing up and I accidentally cut myself on one of my dad's fancy, Japanese knives. I managed to treat my own wound but it's left me with a scar on my thumb that itches and hurts sometimes.
The kicker? This happened when I was in my early 20's😅
Japanese Knives are no fucking joke. Those things are razor sharp. I'd die if i got cut with one
Like a true British citizen.
I don’t why I’m happy that this piece of lost media has been found (because besides the writing it’s from a part of the show that I don’t like) I just am. I think the series has fully been found (I guess that could be the reason)
Jake: Hi everybody! Look what I found in Daddy's drawer! 😃*holds shotgun*
Bella: JAKE! 😨
Fizz: JAKE! 🙀
Doodles: OH NO JAKE JAKE!
Jake: What did I do this time? 😐
Judy: Jake, put down that gun, it's not a toy
Jake: But it doesn't have any sharp bits
Judy: I know but guns are even worse than knives
Jake: How is a gun more dangerous than a knife? *he accidentally pulls the trigger, causing a bullet firing out of the gun and the bullet hits the window*
Jake: Oops 😰
dawg.
Why would Max have a loaded gun to begin with?
@@medichampion328He's English, he wouldn't.
i forgot how absolutely ridiculous the tweenies was lmfaooo
Okay
Knives = bad
Swords = cool
Got it 😂
This went from a safety show for kids to a law and order hostage situation
@@mr_yooooda8147 Tonight on Cops...
I can't bleave this was acual episode 💀💀💀
Let's just hope the lost episode community doesn't get their hands on this and turn It into some creepy fan fiction
Technically it has because it's been uploaded to the public as we speak they could be making a horror fiction theory about kale being a psychopath and killing all the tweenies XD
Sorry I meant jake
Yeah he becomes known as Jake the ripper
The sight of Jake holding that knife and everyone looking terrified will always be in my subconscious
Never play with knifes kids is very dangerous never ever
Not sure why this was banned, isn't it important to teach kids about knives as much as it is about electricity and fire?
Sounds wrong hearing Justin Fletcher saying "Way hey look at this a big knife!"!! 🤨
This day care needs urgent Health & safety & Safeguarding training, & inspection! They allow the children to wander into the kitchen area with no safety gate, & consider putting the knife down at child height on a table as 'safe'.... knife block or not!! 😆
Also, Jake just wandered in on arrival......no hand over!
Moral: Never play with knives.
3:14 Or *"DROP THE KNIFE!"* as the police would say.
(Gasp) JASON VOORHEES!!!!!!!!! RUN!!!!! HE'S GOT A KNIFE TOO!!!!!!!!! (Just joking by the way!)
Marlin and Dory: JASON VOORHEES!!!!! SWIM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Judy. Let me see what you have
Jake. A knife
Judy. NOOOOOO
Jake the ripper is here
0:22 Be Safe With The Tweenies! *Tongue click* Knives! 😃
When Jake walked in with the knife he should've yelled "HERE'S JAKEY!!!!"
I remember that I hurt myself when I was 8 and my mom asked me to cut a loaf for her. It would take years before I dared to use a kitchen knife again. At age 21 I was no longer too scared to use one.
Imagine if Be safe with the Tweenies was first aired on ABC Kids from 2003-2013. 💛💙💜🧡
The Spongebob Chocolate Milk ad, Shrek and Chris Farley, and now this? 2023 is Lost media's year!
You get what they were going for… that kids should be educated and discouraged from using knives but I think this ep was banned bc it probably caused kids to pay more attention to knives than they ever would have havin not been taught about then lol
I'm more concerned about who left the knife out in the first place.
It was probably Max, considering he doesn’t appear in the episode at all!
2:42 average Londoner reaction
Jake no, Knives are not for playing with.
Oh My Glorb it's a 3 year old with a knife
This is what creepypastas should be like instead of the main character killing everyone cliche
Considering how much knife crime there is in the UK this made me uncomfortable
Naughty Jake has messed with both with Scissors and Knives.
"You call it a knife, I call it an educational toy."
"What do you mean, 'educational toy!?' What if he stabs himself or someone else with it!?"
"Then that will be a valuable lesson learnt."
3:06 that's an awkward way to come in whilst holding a knife like TREVOR PHILIPS!
If Tweenies was Rated R
or 18
Jake shouts I’m back from the dentist none of the Tweenies have teeth lol 😂
I am wondering why a 3 year old went to the dentist by himself? Where were his parents?
@@danieljenks3722 exactly lol 😂
The only logical explanation is that in the Tweenies universe, teeth are tumorous growths and the dentist merely exists to extract them as soon as they appear.
@@BrazenScull yes 😂
I mean i get the knife is ment to be the focus here but isnt anyone gonna talk about how selfish milo was being. like if he would have just let jake play with the sword none of that would have happened.
I thought it wasn't aired at all by the BBC mainly because of it being innapropiate for young children (because of knives and such) I don't know if you had special permission from BBC to upload this, or if you even WORK for the BBC and just decided to upload this, or my favourite reason you had a time travel machine and went back in time to tell the BBC to air this episode, really cool bro
Correct, it never aired on BBC for that reason.
@@Dogeathotdog1Incorrect, it did air *ONCE* on Monday 26th September 2005 at 08:50 on the BBC Two channel. 👍🏻
More be safe with the tweenies
Fun Fact: "Milo Rex Es" translates to "You are a sweet king"
3:08 cue the music from Psycho (1960). Plus it would've been awful if Jake tripped and accidently stabbed himself.
That wouldn't be very appropriate to see that happening on a children's TV show.
@@jamestulloch-knight7252 Yes it would be very dark, turn into an episode of Casualty and it would get a lot of complaints from parents.
No wonder this episode got banned
Found out about this recently. Great to see it in full.
i know mr tumble is a respected entertainer but my god jake's voice couldn't be more annoying if he tried
i don't see why this would be banned, sure it's a bit on the extreme side but it still teaches a good lesson to kids
who’s idea was this. just hide your knifes people
I remember watching this show when I was little

Just out of curiosity is the infamous tweenies top of the pops parody episode with the teacher max dressed as jimmy savile lost media?
No that episode is on the CBeebies Greatest Hits DVD (2010)
@@johnfitzgerald1769
2010 is before we knew about the crimes but I don't think they're going to be releasing that one ever again.
2:42 Jake transitions into Jason Vorhees
2:09 Milo's selfishness caused this whole thing if you think about it!
“You think this is bad, the alternative is PSA’s”
3:08 JAKE!!!!
ARE YOU INSANE AND MAD?!?!?!
I feel like I remember this episode, my dad has some of the Tweenies video tapes from when I was younger in the garage I’m gonna have to have a look if this is on there now
Cool for finding lost media, but what the hell did I just discover
A safety short that teaches you how to be safe with knives
Damn how on Earth did you find this!? Was it just out there on the web somewhere or you had ‘other means…’
Definitely other means. I can't really say anything. but enjoy!
It was on the BBC Redux website (the BBC’s online archive). 👍🏻
Could we be able to get a copy of this without the watermark?
Probably not as if we did, people would re-upload it and give no credit to who found it
yeah there's no point for it being there we know who found it cause this is the first upload and it says so on the lmw wiki
@@hoopsy This is like another Saban Moon situation.
I don't mind the watermark. I'm happy it got found.
Youd need a knife to remove it😂
Wtf were the directors thinking when they made this?
I love the Tweenies ❤

Yess! ❤
Knife are dangerous
SO RARE!
Not kinda because their could exist more recordings out their in the wild 😏

I love the Tweenies Edition. 😙😗😙😍😇😀😀😀😀😀
3:53 He's got a lot to learn before he can use King Arthur's sword.
This would be a really easy thing to make a YTP out of. Just have Jake go around, slaughtering people with the knife as he sings “Knives, knives, knives, knives” like he does at 4:33.
