Still just wish Boosted would allow for quick swapping batteries. Would be so much simpler for everyone. Would also increase the potential range of the board significantly.

Awesome video and glad you got your board on the airline. TSA will allow 100ish watt hours but the airlines are not playing nice and as a policy wont allow electric skateboards because they consider their batteries hazardous material. If you dont make it obvious I doubt they'll raise a concern.

dmjdmj Not everyone is as a careful consumer of video as you are dmj2. Some viewers zone out once the credits roll. In this case it was the “outro” vs the intro.

Glad you're okay man :) sometimes life takes an unexpected turn and makes you feel very grateful to be alive and relatively healthy. We need these moments I guess!
I solved this problem by both
1) Not being able to afford a plane ticket
2) Not being able to afford a boosted board
By far one of my favourite videos. You can feel his angst about not being productive for that week by being in the hospital for his appendix. Feel better brother.

RIP caseys appendix
I had my appendix removed about 5 or 6 years ago Casey! Mine was only heavily inflamed when they found out what was wrong, which is lucky, bc if it had ruptured, it can lead to death. I can imagine how much it sucked to deal with, as it was incredibly painful for me when it happened. I hope you are alright and make a speedy recovery! Much love!

Honestly Casey. The hospital is terrible. At the same time though subscribers view creators as these perfect beings and I think a video about you being in the hospital really sheds light on how even you aren’t have your own problems despite being a successful athlete. Awesome videos!

I had my appendix removed in March last year. But prior to that, because my family and I were trying to find out, I had to spend a couple of days in a lot of pain. Glad to hear everything is well with you, Casey. Your body will heal, just give it time and be mindful of your diet and amount of exercise!
Casey’s ability to make any video an amazing video just amazing me. He’s such a huge inspiration to me and he’s the reason I started my channel 2 months ago. I try to incorporate his style in my own way but no one can do Casey better than Casey.
I can’t thank him enough for motivating me to not give a sh*t what others think about me, start my channel and do what I love because man it feels great!

It’s only a matter time before airports become exceedingly restrictive on lithium batteries… As it is now, most airlines have a restriction at one or two batteries with a max of 100 or 160 Wh, carry-on only, removed from the device and placed in a protective casing. Often times though, it seems as though the agents don’t know exactly what this means. I imagine they have seen very few mini boosted boards :-)
Health comes first. I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that we all want you here (and healthy/happy) for as long as possible, even if you need a break to look after yourself. Wishing you the best Casey.

Hi Casey; in the last 12 months I never had an issue with travelling all over the world with my Boosted V2 board on BA, American, Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand, Hong Kong Airlines, through big and small airports worldwide, including Beijing, LAX, Vegas, Heathrow and Hong Kong.
Remove standard 99waH battery and carry in a Lipo firebag. The board itself has its own prptective cordura bag. So far I have always been allowed to take it through as carryon. It lies flat in an overhead locker with a carryon backpack on top of it.
Don't try to fly with the new extrnded range battery.

Happyto Know you are doing better again. Had the same when I was 23 and at university , from one minute to another ambulance to hospital for an appendix break through ... lots of panic but in the end all good, what I kept is a 15 cm scarf on my stomach from the emergency surgery .... take care

Correct. Extended ranger batteries exceed the FAA's 100Wh limit.
He brought a mini s, so he could just carry it in without taking the battery out. It has a 99wh battery

Im glad ur okay Casey and good video. One thing I feel we should always consider is how lucky some of us are to not have to go through health scares like this often. Some people in this world are very, very sick and would trade anything to feel healthy again.

I wouldn't say your trip was completely unproductive. I got to see both your appearances at VidCon and you are a huge inspiration. Before your Fireside Chat, I stood up and asked the entire room who had a camera with them and almost everyone (that I could see) had one with them. There were so many cameras in that room. It was amazing to see what you have inspired, what a CZcamsr could accomplish, all while just dealing with the news about your appendix.
