I remember reading somewhere that SNES would be way more difficult to remix like this than NES. I don't think the series is making a comeback anytime soon, but I would get a Switch port in an instant.

I'm noticing a trend: most of the games here were superseded by future installments or were critically panned (or both!). For the ones that were here that weren't either of those two, they (or at least their content) were ported onto the 3DS, or they were Nintendo Land. (which would be hard to do outside the Wii U since it focused completely on the asynchronous-screen multiplayer, which would only work with purchase of multiple systems)

Wii U truly was a magical time in a lot of ways. I know that a lot of these titles have been "watered" down because they have come to the Switch but my gosh, when these games came to the Wii U, they truly hit different and made you proud to own a Wii U. I am always impressed that BoTW runs good on the Wii U and I have still have the DLC only for the Wii U version of the game.
My favourite Wii U game has to be Splatoon, The most original and unique shooter game, From nintendo too! The online is so fun and so is the story, also getting as many clothing as possible. The game is amazing. The concept makes it so much more fun. It is the perfection of a game and I could say it is in my top 3 Nintendo games of all time . A very underrated game in my opinion
NES remix has to be my favorite. The hours my eldest son and I played that reminiscing about playing the original titles when he was a kid. So much fun. A SNES remix on the Switch would be fantastic!
This video does not feature Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water, probably because it did not receive a physical release in America. Here in Europe, it did, altough only a limited one.

I would love to see Switch ports of Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fatal Frame Maiden of Black Water, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Twilight Princess HD, and Windwaker HD.
Yoshi's wooly world also has a cardboard/amibo version in case you didn't know.
My favorite of those who is left is defintly Nintendo Land, so many good memories.
Mario Kart 8 was probably my favorite, but there were so many good ones. Nintendo Land has to be in the convo for sure!

Imo the best gems on Wii U are... Zelda twilight princess hd, Zelda wind waker hd, Zelda breath of the wild (even though it was a dual release on switch still worth owning the Wii U version), paper Mario color splash, and Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Great video! I did find a local deal that really helped me add to my Wii U collection. I had to drive a good bit but couldn’t pass up the deal. It was donkey Kong tropical freeze/ Mario tennis ultra smash, Kirby and the rainbow curse and Pac-Man the ghostly adventures all for 20$!

My favorite Wii U game was New Super Luigi U. It was basically NSMBU but with an extra depth of challenge, especially since you had to beat the levels under 100 seconds and Luigi had his physics from past Mario games. It was also $30 cheaper than it's counterpart when it first came out.
I knew Splatoon was worth getting! After all, it’s Nintendo’s First Free Online Third-Person Shooter game!

My favorite Wii U game is Zombi U, when I got the Wii U for christmas in 2013 I got Zombi U with it and it was a fun horror survival game that was intense and defently got me stressed out and scared at some points.
I really enjoyed it on the Wii U. Didn't play it much but was pretty good. I remember buying the HD version on Xbox One but something was missing... i think the use of the tablet of the original Wii U version really added something to the game, it just wasn't the same with later HD versions.
I hope Nintendo land atleast gets a sequel what a fun game.
Yoshis Woolly World by far.......its a top 10 all time platformer for me. Easy game in it self, yes......but collecting everything 100%, not so easy. Loved it!!!
My favorites are Twilight Princess, Yoshis Wooly World, and Nintendo Land.
Wooly World also had a big box bundle that came with one of the 3 Yarn Yoshi amiibos
The training modes in Wii Sports Club are loads of fun. Love golf bingo

Super Smash Bros for wii u is definitely my favorite wii u game mainly because of the nostalgia from 2015-2018 of me playing it and putting thousands of hours into it by playing it over time
My favorite Wii U games would have to be Yoshi’s Woolly World and Paper Mario: Color Splash. Despite how they were received, the charming humor and puzzle-adventure mechanics in Color Splash and the surprisingly well-done OST in Woolly World still win me over. If they fixed the battle system in Color Splash, I think it could have a decent second life on Switch, despite the presence of Origami King.

Yeah Game & Wario or Nintendoland are my favorite Wii U games. They are just so perfect for families and friends
The main think about Super Mario Maker on the Wii U is that it has all the Amiibo costumes plus some bonus freebie DLC ones through events, which SMM2 doesn't have.
Game and Wario on ebay is $200 CAD.
I can NEVER find it at my local used game stores.

I got one from a store that used to rent games, so mine has a rental sticker on the disc but it's in mint condition wit the box, a friend got his copy from a Facebook video game sales group

My favorite Wii U game is either Mario Kart 8 or Super Mario 3D world. I really enjoyed Splatoon as well, but I didn't play it much.

I’m surprised you didn’t talk about Devils Third. Which is a Nintendo published Wii U exclusive. Probably the most expensive game on the system.

Good thing that I started collecting Wii u games around an year and half ago. I have just about every wii u exclusive that haven't been ported and over 67 games in my shelf. Pretty much over half of the library.
I hope Starfox Zero gets ported to the Switch, but with normal controls this time!!
You forgot the wooly world amiibo bundles. They had three of them for each yarn Yoshi color.
I really like these videos.
Value isn't the most important to me but it's nice for the collection, if it's something I would really like to play and to get a feeling for the value.
But it's pretty astonishing that all these games are about 10-20€ here in Germany. I think that now is the best Time to pick these up. I'm pretty sure the will get pretty pricey in a few years
Out of games shown in the video I have 9, and 19 Wii U games in total. I got my console in 2018 to play Breath of the Wild and I'm not gonna let it go.
I got a Wii U for Christmas, so this video is a great reminder that it’s still a worthwhile console! I have Super Mario 3D World, Splatoon, TPHD, and WWHD. And Nintendoland. I think Nintendoland would we be super cool if ported to the switch!

My favorite Wii U game is probably Nintendo land, yes it probably isn’t the best Wii U game but most games on the Wii U had a partner game on the 3DS except for Nintendo land which made the experience feel unique. It is also a awesome party Game
I bought Wii U about a week ago and I love it! I love my Switch too, but Wii U is equally fun if you ask me.
My favorite wiiu exclusive if bayo 2 wasn't ported would without a doubt be splatoon. Lots of fun gameplay and a really fun art style

Hey Lithium, you forgot to talk about the big box Yoshi's Woolly World release that came bundled with a green yarn yoshi amiibo! I actually still have the box (not sealed though), so I'm curious what it's going for.
I also recently picked up XCX for $16, so I'm pretty excited to play through that game!

EDIT: looked up why, it's cause it had a very limited release due to lack of faith in the title, which isn't surprising, and I highly doubt it'll ever come to the Switch cause almost nobody liked it
I’m going to be very nit-picky here, but in most every case where you use the word “variation,” you should be using “variant.” In simple terms, “variation” is change, and “variant” is one of the forms resulting from the change.
So Smash for Wii U is a variant of Smash for 3DS, and vice-versa. But the variations that make them different are things like the different stages available in each game, or the fact that one is on 3DS and one is on Wii U.
But in any case, great video and thanks for sharing! I’m happy to learn that my big-box Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Smash games have gone up so much in value! Glad I was able to get my hands on those at regular retail price when they first came out!!
The NES Remix games are great fun. I'd love a Switch port with a few games such as StarTropics, Duck Hunt and The Mysterious Murasame Castle added.
My favorite Wii U game was 3D World. I didn't buy many games for my Wii U and I have no idea why.
As for the one I want ported I would say probably Paper Mario Color Splash
i really loved the wii u, and i think the switch isnt that great as ppl think, cuz alot of ``switch``s best games, are wii u games. Mario 3d world, zelda breath of the wild, super mario bros, pikmin 3, captain toad, donkey kong freeze, mario kart 8 etc
I think any Mario or Zelda games are a safe bet regardless of their gameplay quality. I'm gonna be sure to collect them as much as possible!

The only reason I'm not getting rid of my Wii U games is because I have an emotional attachment to them. Yes, they are the exact same on the Switch for the most part, but I experienced them first on the Wii U. I can't just throw that away.

I *REALLY* want _Star Fox Zero_ to be ported to Switch, probably with some New Play Control shenanagins like they did with _Donkey Kong Jungle Beat_ and the _Pikmin_ on the Wii.
Favorite Wii U game is Mario Party 10! Not many people liked it, but I enjoyed the mini games a lot!
I feel like ports of these games might be released to keep the Switch alive for another year after the Switch 2 comes out.

Star fox Guard I can find for around $10CAD. My favourite Star Fox games were definitely the older ones. They were much better in my opinion.
Fatal frame needs to come to the US.. I know it had a release in JP
Also had a very small European release Which now goes for about $250.
It was released digitally in the US.
I hope paper Mario colour splash comes to switch because it would be the easiest of these to bring over
Out of what ive played, id have to say mario 3d world is my favorite wii u game. I have probably 2/3 of the set now though.
Im going for a complete Wii U collection right now but with a twist, im trying to complete 2 at once. Game & Wario is up there on the ones to collect since it maximizes the gamepad. I can't really see that one specifically getting ported ever
Three I would mention as well that I own that are collectible are Rodea the Sky Soldier Big Box, Devils Third, and Axiom Verge Physical from Limited Run. I feel all 3 of these will be worth something moving forward.
Devil's Third is one of my favorite games on the Wii U. It's graphics were a mess, but it was still a lot of fun.

I like to see Zombie U or something similar to it be ported. Only ever played at a friend's place and it was pretty good.

I’m thinking the Zelda 3d All Stars might have Ocarina of Time, Windwaker, and Twilight Princess.
Just like they skipped out on Galaxy 2 in the Mario variant, I think they’ll toss Majora’s Mask since they’ll want one game from each console (not to mention remaking Majora’s Mask/OOT vs porting the Wii U versions of WW/TP takes a lot more effort and Nintendo can be lazy lol)

Onw of the best games that can really only be played on that system is Affordable space adventures. Incredible game. Especially in coop
NES Remix. Really I hope to get this ported to Switch (or the next console that comes after it). If not ported as native Version, at least try to emulate the 3DS version and make it playable on another system.

My favorite Wii U game is Super Mario 3D World hands down the best. A game that I also hope that will be ported is Xenoblade Chronicles X. I would let this edition of that game and I would like to see that poured it over to the switch as well.
I remember when I was only 8 I brought Mario Party 10 in the big box Mario amiibo bundle at a Toys R Us, but that was way before I started collecting so I kinda wish I didn't through the box away. But what are you gonna do.

The only reason I think that Twilight Princess HD is so expensive is because of the fact that, in order to level up the Wolf Link Amiibo from having 3 hearts of health to 20 hearts, so the Wolf Link Amiibo has more health in Breath of the Wild, you need to do the Amiibo Dungeon that was added in Twilight Princess HD to level it up. Also, probably demand.
I have all of these and still play it sometimes when I miss the days of Wii U it may not have been the best system but it was very fun and oddly nostalgic and it’s only 9 years old sometimes I feel more nostalgic with the Wii U than when I play games like the GameCube or sega Genesis or Dreamcast even my ps1 and ps2 I just love the Wii U and it sucks that it wasn’t that much of a success but I have a open copy of game and wario and honestly it wasn’t that fun for me when I got it but maybe I’ll play it again soon and see if my opinion changes and my Wii U originally was black and didn’t come with a game when I got it in 2012 so I waited and then in 2014 or 2015 the smash and splatoon dual pack Wii U came out and I instantly bought it and I’ve also heard that is one of the rarest Wii U’s out there and it came with splatoon and smash 4 or for the normal non competitive smash players “super smash brother for Nintendo Wii U” it’s basically the 3DS versions of smash 4 but better graphics and slightly different modes and the smash 4 and splatoon Wii U bundle is my main Wii U so my basic black no game included Wii U has just been collecting dust but I’m thinking of selling it because I haven’t used it since 2014 or 2015 so if the stock Wii U gets rare I still have the box so I guess I’ll get even more money if I sell it
I picked up Game And Wario last week for £25 from my local 2nd hand shop. When I saw it I was so excited 😂😂😂😂, the guy behind the counter thought i was crazy for buying Wii U games. Easy worth at least triple what I paid in the UK of not quadruple.
Besides the Wii U games, I'm interested in seeing the possibility of 3DS games being ported or remastered for the Switch. Some like the 3DS Luigi's Mansion remake, Kid Icarus, 3D Majora's Mask, and 3D Ocarina Of Time.
