I got my zerno a couple of months ago and am very impressed with the build and grind quality. It has 64mm blind burrs, I wonder how it compares to a regular 83mm. Although I don’t have as much as you Hoon, I am definitely set for life with 3 grinders, niche 0, 078, zerno, for my home and 2 grinders, p64, lagom 01, for my condo.
Does the noise of the Zerno bother you? That's what's making me hold out for the Mazzer Philos. (That and the Mazzer 200 burrs which are supposed to be fire.)
@@RasenRambo23 no the noise isn’t any worse than any other grinder, its a little more higher pitched than the niche zero but not any louder.
@@ikakau Glad to know that's not too much of an issue. If that motor was brushless, the Zerno would be on my shortlist. For that kind of money I want it to last for a long, long time. I hadn't followed up if their latest models addressed that. I suppose it's moot as the waitlist is so long right now. Really need a lot of patience with new things on the horizon, Argos, Meticulous, Philos, and the Zerno.

$584 for DF64 must be with SSP burrs. I have just seen it with stock burrs for $399. Great value I would say.
No point in getting this and skimping on the burrs - they're the whole story.
@@RasenRambo23 I can't disagree with that. Once you have been accustomed to using the better grade burrs. you won't want to go back to a lesser grade burr.
