idk, i install sodium, i tested without sodium and with it but i got the same fps with/without him so idk for me doesn t work , i guess

Can i add sodium to forge like how you did with optifine?
Unfortunately Sodium is only compatible with Fabric. There are some forge forks for Sodium that might make it compatible with Forge but as far as my knowledge goes most of these are outdated and won’t probably work with any new version of Minecraft. With all that said I will continue to look into this and see what I can find.
quick update: there's a (neo)forge port of Sodium called "Embeddium" and they have support for some of the most recent versions, feel free to check it out!
