- The mastermind of an armed robbery that ended in a police officer being shot dead will die in jail.
Pc Sharon Beshenivsky’s family watched from court as Piran Ditta Khan, the last member of the gang responsible for the armed raid that claimed her life, was sentenced after almost 20 years.
Pc Beshenivsky was killed on her daughter’s fourth birthday while interrupting a robbery at family-run Universal Express travel agents in Bradford, West Yorkshire, in November 2005.

For the one who spreads fear and harm in the land, it would be crucifixion with limbs cut on opposite sides. If a Muslim is a rapist then he deserves whichever of the above sharia prescribed for him. Swift judgement, effective deterrents and no burden on the tax payer. That’s Islam. What’s your justice system’s punishment for rapists? A few years if and reduced sentence for good behaviour? So your legal system is part of the problem. Had the country/world been governed by Islamic laws, we wouldn’t be seeing porn inspired rape and violence towards women, women and child abuse, burglaries, drug and alcohol related crimes and murders that plaguing our society today.
