Thanks to the entire team for making such a good movie. I enjoyed every minute of it, making me long for more. There is perfection in direction, editing. Above all the lead actress portraying such impeccable innocence in her acting and the director's ability to bring that out is amazing. Hope some commercial films are made with such perfection and quality. Director and the producers wish you all could bring more films like this. Title - Sirukki anything else will not be such appropriate
Actually,in the final scene,she wanted to express her love to the village simpleton on tractor..She conceals her love when ahe gets know that he us engaged to anirher gurl.Good story line.

Sirukki (Silly Girl)
Fish called Angel
Angel is a very young fish. Her character is rather ambitious and daring. She constantly dreams of great things beyond the river. She watches the hovering birds that fly over the river in envy and longs for the day that she could become a flying fish. If she can fly, she can catch those eluding small insects that often escape wiggling their feathers. Mother fish never call her Angel but by many horrible names, but she seldom gets disturbed by it. This trait has all to do with inexperience and maybe the sin of being young.
She discovered she could jump out of the water and be in the air. It was fun and promising. Mother fish was alarmed as her “silly girl” could become easy prey for the enemies. But Angel did not stop. She practised near the embankment to escape from her mum’s view.
One fine day, the first jump over the water lilies was great fun, but the next attempt with vigour landed her on the embankment, caught between rocks. No water to breath, Angel was wiggling her body in desperation. Her hopes were diminishing every second.
“Jothi”, betrayed by the lover, disappointed by the hopeful suitor and horrified to face her family, was also in a desperate condition. Seeing the fish Angel in despair and fear, immediately recovered her from the rocks and soothingly returned her to the waters. A new life and hope springs for Angel. she kissed Jothi’s finger and swam back to her mum.
Jothi, now an experienced and grown-up girl who is no longer silly, walks home with new hope and determination. Maybe she would pass the 12th exam that eluded her next time. She will continue to dream and will work to realise them.
