My sister and I wondered how hot dog(car) can (float) across the ocean, but one year the lady driving said it was the last year they would be visiting because it was too expensive to ship it on the container boat. Boba
people end up doing that, from trimming and pruning the trees to prevent the branches from being in the roadway, when you cut a tree branch, limb, or stock, that bit will not grow past that cut. If you make a cut after a node a new branch will grow but it tends to grow upward-and-outward from that point. This continues until the branches dont interfere with the roadway. Essentially if it's done correctly then the tree will "learn" where not to grow especially where box trucks and semi trucks are concerned. Due to them disrupting the limbs either from rubbing or breaking off a limb. Interesting factoid that plays into this, trees of different species tend to not "merge" their canopies and will actually stop growing in the direction of a different species as to not compete for light, however trees of similar species will "merge" their canopies and sometimes they will graft together to become a singular tree (these are super cool if they grafted enough to become a singular limb and you have a chance to cut a cross section because you can see where they started to grow together).

      A. Volcano is objectively better.
      B. There are often shorter "Educational use" cuts of movies (and also "for TV" cuts) that are shorter to fit into a 60-90 minute class.
If a studio can somehow brand their movie as "educational", they can get government money, as long as an "educational" cut exists for use in public education.
Sometimes movies are re-cut by 3rd parties.
Sometimes these cuts are VERY low effort.
Sometimes scenes you ASSUME would be cut, like sex scenes or gore, are not.

@@enisra_bowman oh, a lot of the time it’s just some guys with chainsaws and a cherry picker. We have a variety. Last week, on a backroad, I saw a tractor with a hydraulic arm attached to the back with a brush trimmer on the end. For once, I’m not sure poor infrastructure is the problem. It’s more that the roads go through a tunnel of trees and underbrush, and folks would rather trim them back than cut things down. So you end up with telephone poles running down tiny roads with trees overhead. Some of the poles lean over the road for lack of room with the trees. I’ve seen poles where one wire goes on one side of a tree trunk, and the other wire goes on the other.
I wonder if it’s also a factor that we have more trees than some of you guys. I looked it up once, and even New Jersey, our most densely populated state, has three times the forest per square mile than the UK, and four times that of England.
