Truly a core memory being made in that room. I’ll never forget this moment. Eternally grateful to be sitting by these 4 women that I’ve looked up to for the longest time.
So, Isay is already 61, but, she looks so young and slim.
"It's always a blessing to be performing on stage." I wonder what it feels like to be living your dream.
soooooo cute it felt like a titas and pamangkins get together the way they were talking to each other 😭sana sinagad na nila at sa Mary Grace ginawa yung interview hahahaha
it was really an honor to meet isay and robert in the mall and had picture with them. Super baet nila. My favorite Gigi Ms. Isay Alvarez
When Ms. Isay gave advice, I really felt that it truly came from her heart.🥺
naalala ko si tanya sa huling el bimbo. kaya pala ang daming nanuod din kasi she played kim in miss saigon. she did well on both plays
isay!!! best gigi for me 😊
Isay blends with the younger ones. You'd thought she's just on her late 20's or early 30's.
Aicelle Santos ❤
Isay looks amazing! So proud of all these ladies!
Isay looks amazing!
Saw it last week. The entire cast was incredible!
this convo should end with Joanna Ampil entering and starting a group song... "Memories"...
This is so inspiring! One day, I hope to get to sit with you in this table ❤️
You cant beat the original but versions are exciting and appealing. It is like adobo but with vinegar soysauce as original ingridients now you added more spices to suit different taste same as Ms. Saigon. The Engineer is flambouyant and queer, mqybe later on he will be notorious ganster or model like handsome guy. Or maybe Kim is not 16 yrs old but 20 something intelligent woman who are in university but a victim of war.
I agree, but the new Asian cast is a revelation… there something that will magnify you to be glued with this cast.. I’ve seen the revival here at NYC but I’m sure all our kababayan will be just as I amazed with entire production !
I love this video ❤
Good to see aicelle again when is her comeback on aos?
im crying too
For me its isay originnal gigi
😭😭😭
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
Seems like Isay is so bored with the conversation. 😂
Yung carla yung mom nung sophia sa katseye!
Original Miss Saigon is it.
Sana, magkaroon ng original musical ang mga pilipino instead of wasting their time and talent trying to recreate an original.
Miss Saigon is getting old and its music is just soso but the original was an experience BECAUSE IT WAS SOMETHING NEW AT THE TIME. The only songs or numbers in the show that really stood out were Isay Alvarez “Movie in My Mind” and Jonathan Pryce “American Dream.” Other than that, the musical was just average.
Filipinos are talented on stage, no doubt. But are Filipinos talented enough to produce its own original hit production instead of being musical OFWs working for a foreign production?
Mayroon namang local shows dito sa pilipinas
Hi po! Please support local theatre productions dami dami especially this year! Three of us in this vid are proud to be alumnae of Ang Huling El Bimbo! So grateful to my many theatre mentors and directors who were Miss Saigon alumni that ended up taking their international training and bringing it back home to the PH. Ang saya!
Meron naman Pong local shows here. Meron actually upcoming ngayong April 2024. Search nyo lang Po online
Meron pong parokya this year. I think it's the same production company as AHEL. Tickets are available na Po sa ticket world.
Funny because they couldn't get talents in vietnam.
Miss Saigon is one of those works of art that has aged poorly. It is cringe-worthy when many Filipinas still think a role in this play is covetable. There's a reason Vietnamese themselves don't want to be a part of it. 😬 It is demeaning for Asian women, reinforces American interventionism, white man’s burden, and white supremacy, pero here are Filipinas, celebrating being a part of such play.
This is not reinforcing anything, this is only telling a story through art, a story that has happened in real time in the past and yes they should be proud because they have done so well with their talent & hardwork
