    Did you know that Legends Ultimate 1.1 owners actually have 310 built-in games and Legends Gamer Pro owners have 160 built-in games?
    Some questions have popped up of late from new Legends Ultimate 1.1 (300 games version) and Legends Gamer Pro owners in regards to games that we'd like to quickly clarify. This information was directly shared, but we know that sometimes on-cabinet messages, emails, and notes in the firmware updates don't always come across for everyone.
    Starting with the universal 5.0.0 update, we temporarily disabled 7 Taito arcade games so they can be further optimized per publisher guidelines. The good news is that these optimizations are expected to be completed within a few weeks. Even better news is that in the meantime we are sending you 10 additional built-in games, which will be yours to keep.
    The 7 temporarily disabled Taito arcade games are:
    Arabian Magic
    Balloon Bomber
    Bubble Symphony
    Operation Wolf
    Plump Pop
    Space Invaders DX
    Tokio
    The 10 additions to your game library are:
    64th Street Detective
    Best Bout Boxing
    Dunk Dream 95 / Street Slam / Street Hoop
    Edward Randy, The Cliffhanger
    Gun Ball / Nitro Ball
    Hachoo!
    Night Slashers
    Side Pocket (Arcade)
    Super Real Darwin (Darwin 4081)
    Zaviga
    Note that your total built-in game count will show 310 games for Legends Ultimate 1.1 owners and 160 games for Legends Gamer Pro owners, which includes the 7 Taito arcade games that are temporarily disabled. Once the 7 Taito arcade games are reinstated with the expected September 30 firmware update, your playable total built-in game count will remain 310 and 160 games, respectively. The gifting of the 10 games will be shown on a popup for download once your Legends Ultimate/Gamer connects to the internet and upgrades the firmware (you'll just need to reboot per the instructions).
    To upgrade your firmware, simply go to Settings and select Version, then follow the prompts (you may also be automatically prompted).

    Whether you modded your Arcade1up cabinet or kept it in the original configuration, you can make it unique and stand out. If you have an Arcade1up riser and a screwdriver, you can do this!
    This video shows the shorter version of the mod of the Marvel Super Hero cabinet from Arcade1up. This mod is different in that the speaker and volume controls are different than the Street Fighter cabinet. Also, this mod not only uses the stock speaker controls, but the stock power button turns off the Pi and it turns off everything else plugged into the power strip. Include some extensive gameplay of Tekken 3.

    What is a modded or Modified Arcade1Up Cabinet?
    A modded cabinet is an arcade machine that has been modified to look and or act much differently from what the manufacturer created and made available. Your budget and imagination are your only limitations. This is a look at one particular modified Street Fighter cabinet.

    Just ordered the Walmart version HA8801. Holiday shopping has me low on cash , but I was able to use PayPal Credit at Walmart , while Sams still doesn’t accept that. So , Walmart version it is ! I don’t care about the missing pinball buttons since I’ll be getting the dedicated machine for that. Can’t wait for it to get here !

    I didn't bother applying the side graphics, and I installed the kick panel the opposite way so the game list is hidden on the inside. . So my cabinet is all black with just the chrome trim. Way nicer and less busy looking.

    If you got the Legends Gamer or Ultimate from Sam's, there's a new update (as of November 4, 2020) that adds new games which include several Visco games such as the Drift-Out series, Andro Dunos and Breakers Revenge. The pack also contains Adventures of Robby Roto

    I wanted one of those Legends Cabs in the worse way last fall into early this year but do to lack of availability I went with the RecRoom Masters 32" Pro Upright Xtension with the Plus Control Deck and I'm glad it worked out that way for me. It's a beast of a Cab and the build quality is top notch and the room for two Adults is perfect. I still kept my Street Fighter 2 1UP but it's become more of a decoration piece now. Nobody want's to play on it in the same room the 32" is in lol. Maybe I should move it to another room lol.

  • @stardust727fla.2
    @stardust727fla.2 Před 3 lety +2

    Great video. I have both the 1st Gen. And this one and antil you put them side-by-side you don't realise how many differences they have actually changed The new cabinet is about a 1/2 inch shorter . The marquis has a More faded looking print End is missing the stars,The screen is at a different pitch ,the shape is more narrow on the cabinet .It feels slightly stripped down compared to the previous year . I ordered another one because the 1 that just came in the mail Had a broken board And a dead pixel. I have yet to download pinball games to a thumbstick so at the moment the additional buttons are useless. As far as the games go there are a few good ones but the machine doesn't really shine until you add coin Ops. Strangely enough I was trying last night to Bluetooth the controller to a fire stick And was having issues syncing to the newer machine but the old one had no problems Connecting.

    Very nice detail video. First time watching your chnl.
    I've been thinking on what type of full arcade machine I want to get. I've made smaller bartops and custom ones for myself from scratch and just do not have the time anymore to continue making them. I do like this control layout since it covers almost all type of games. Keep up the great work. Take care.

  • @ThomasGrillo
    @ThomasGrillo Před 3 lety +1

    I'm definitely flipping the kick panel around, to just show black, and will likely pickup a fake coin door from Happ Controls. By the way, for the moders, the following suggestion may not be right for them, if they need to get in, and out of this cab a lot, but, to get rid of those bulges, and rippling on these clip retained graphics, I'm wondering if a light spray of fabric adhesive might do the trick. That stuff is not permanent, so it should be easy to peal off, if you need to remove the upper cabinet. Thanks for the video.

    • @coreyharrell9079
      @coreyharrell9079 Před 3 lety +1

      Wonder if some Clearcoat spray would do the trick, can probably take it to a wood shop and get them to cut you a thin sheet of acrylic\plexiglass. Ask that old shop teacher from high school.

    • @ThomasGrillo
      @ThomasGrillo Před 3 lety

      @@coreyharrell9079 You'd still need an adhesive on the back side of the graphic to lock it down, but yeh, a clear coat might protect the printed side longer. I don't think I'd go to the trouble of custom cutting a plex. That stuff's not forgiving, and cracks, and melts if you go too fast with the saw. Maybe if you know someone with a CNC router, they could do it, but you'd have to provide a file for them to program the router with. Lots of hassle to go through.

    Started watching your videos a month ago. Came back to this one. I got a weird Atgames Legends in today. Its the 2nd version but the side art is actually on the side like an A1UP cab. Mine wasn't a vinyl overlay. Glad it isn't but its like they have a version 2.1 out there now? And it says Star Wars Trilogy on front and Burger Time is a green lettering with red outline. Ha. Idk just some little changes I guess. Cannot find any information about it tho.

    I am not a Sam Club member, so they charge you $50 handling and $10 shipping, for online shipping, free shipping & handling, if your a Plus member, at $100, Club member $45 and no handling fee, but half to pay for shipping. So Sam Club like $549.99, if not a member, wasn’t going to come a member just to save $5, I have a Costco membership, only went to Sam Club for the Legend Arcade.
