The Pittsburgh downtown kinda reminds me of my city Perth in Australia. Both around 2 half million metro population and kinda quiet in the city ..actually busier in the suburbs tbh

Really; when? Not being disrespectful but I'm from Cleveland and loved in Pgh twice: 1992 to 1994 and then 1998 to 1999 when I moved to Seattle and been here ever since. Wish he had ridden through the Hill District, Shadyside and Penn Hill. Love that city to death, but hate the Steelers even more, lol. Miss the Pgh terribly; peace in you, bro.
Lovely midsized city. Just some sections seem quite dark. But I noticed they got like 1920's lamps, which gives an extra charm in some streets.

How about some Vermont drives? Especially in the fall. Also, the southern Minnesota/Wisconsin “driftless” area is a stunningly beautiful drive.
Going to be visiting Pittsburg for the first time in February! Sounds crazy I know! Was originally supposed to been in August (2023) but Madonna postponed all of her US tour dates LOL

Nobody really hangs out downtown unless you’re going ice skating, to a penguins or duquesne game, or one of the broadway theaters. Not much else to do down there if there isn’t a seasonal event. Other parts of the city are much more lively
