I'm curious about how the BBC Martians pilot their Tripods.

You should include the test footage from Ray Harryhausen's unmade adaptation.

Why did you include no video game adaptations? Are there no WOTW video games?

I was going to say you should've added the Goliath Martians but Goliath was more of a sequel then an adaptation.

    When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth
16.8K subscribers Uhm, to be honest..... You forgot one that really really really needs to be added to the list.... the Martians from the 2012 film "War of The Worlds: Goliath". The Martians that do appear in the 2012 film “War of the Worlds: Goliath” as the main antagonists, do in fact, bear many striking resemblances to the original one’s from H.G Welles novel (as well as Jeff Wayne’s versions), such as being large, round, bulky, mollusk cephalopod-like beings that even possess multiple tentacles (eight in total). There are a few minor differences such as, their blood is a bright green, their eyes glow bright red, and will lose their glow when they’re killed. The insides of their beak-like mouth are also shown with included a tongue as well. They also have a sense of smell. And like many of their previous onscreen adaptation counterparts, these Martians are outright malicious, pure evil, highly intelligent, murderous, genocidal, xenophobic, warmongering, unreasonable, ruthless, and unsympathetic beings that are also shown actually drinking the blood of their Human victims (In a really disturbing way!).

Always annoyed me that despite inventing the alien invasion genre and read like a true horror novel, every adaptation is completely unfaithful to the setting, the characters, the themes about colonialism and genocide, and the Martians themselves.

I don't like the design of the BBC Martians because making them look just like the tripods themselves just rips off the Steven Spielberg movie (which itself was not as good of an adaptation as it could have been).
