Yes on this video only I tried having my mic up above as the jacket was rubbing on it when it was on my chest mount. It’s a no go. Lol. Thanks for the feedback and I’ve found a better spot for my mic.
Yup I like that new angle. You could combine multiple angles depending on the build.

I appreciate it, the flip flops; was not planed to work on the car that day but I got some parts in the post and couldn’t resist. The mic was a trial from above the action. Wont be doin that again. I normally have a wireless rode under my shirt. Ext video it’s back to good audio and shoes. Thanks

Suggest when your removing components that may drop to the floor (eg crash bar) you wear something more substantial on your feet.. don’t think flip flops are appropriate.
At the End of the day they’re your feet, so feel free to ignore this well intentioned advice.
