    Thanks for your very helpful videos!
    I watched them all before even getting a drum, and now that I bought the same Meinl Doumbek you use just two hours ago, my fingers are already turning blue trying to imitate your great sound and relaxed playing style. أحسنت from Hamburg, Germany

    • @azzamrey7669
      @azzamrey7669 Před 5 lety

      I use my right hand for the roll, but I don't know if that will affected the performance on faster speeds

    Your drumming vids are great. Just know that "Maksoum" is called "arapiko" by Greek people and that it is also played medium and very slow. "Miserlou" is a slow "Arapiko" or "Maksoum" and has been my veil song for many years. Slow Maksoum has been around a long time. Trouble is a lot of dancers don't do slow flowing dances very much any more. Perhaps this is why people are forgetting that it is traditionally done very slow also.

      Yay nationalism. Because cultural value can never be universal, no it always has to be attributed to a certain nation, so morons can be proud of themselves without incenting anything themselves. Also kindly stop capslock spamming
