Thanks for the video! It's refreshing to see somebody wind up these old twins. Seems like everybody that posts a ride-along video of an old CB450 likes to short-shift. Nice to hear this thing scream!

I loved my 1972 Honda CB 450. The sound at the 9500 rpm red line was amazing, especially with the baffles cut short.

I loved my CB750 K2 1970 model (still had the drum brakes, but 45HP motor and 5 speed)The sound of that twin cam parallel twin is truly unique, makes an old 71 yr old want to ride again, but don't tell my wife. Still remember adjusting those valves with the wafer thin feeler gauges.

I had one of those...Switched it for a Suzuki GT 250...i didn´t like that 2stroke sound...
Right from the dealer, i went to the german autobahn, and it failed...6 month later i drove her to Portugal, and it failed again...
    Near the French/Spanish border.
But now i knew what was wrong with it...On the left side of the motor, the part connected to the electric starter lost screws...
They became loose and ruined the motor...
I tramped back to Germany, got spare parts, and tramped back to France...
Took me about a day to fix it...
After that, my Honda CB 450 ran like a dream ;-)
I went to Corsica with it, on the west coast, and raced her through beautiful corners....at High Speed ;-)
    LOVED that machine...

My first bike was a 72 450, love it. Drove to Olivet Collage from Alpena 74-78. Longest trip was in 76 after
When I took down to Fort Lauderdale for spring break. I did all the maintenance on after I purchased the manual.

Gotta love the sound of a 180 degree parallel twin. Sounds like a V8 at high revs.

Super Nice video! What kind of tires du you use? They look a bit thicker than the standard size.

That's one cool bike! Is it good enough for daily traffic? Or rather buy something newer? I've had 4 motorcycles, and all were newer models, but I like those oldies more.
