RANKING "CUBE ENTERTAINMENT GROUPS" IN DIFFERENT CATEGORIES

- Hi there! I would just like to give a quick heads-up how I rank the artists in each category.
- First off, I'm ranking them as a group, not individually, so while some members could be a 10, others members can bring the score down. However, if certain members are trained as rappers/vocalists only, they're not factored in as much.
- VOCALS:
I would just like to clarify that by no means am I a vocals analyst, so I can't judge people their technique. That's why I focus mostly on the color and tone of the artists their voices (eventually stability, versatility, and uniqueness).
- RAPPERS:
Their fluidity, pronunciation, stability and versatility are mostly factored in.
- DANCE:
All artists are trained to dance, but not all are dancers. Some artists come off more naturally than others.
- STAGE PRESENCE:
Stability on stage and if they're basically owning the stage. Some artists have good stage presence at the beginning, but their stage presence drops towards the end.
Would also like to add, that as I do more of these, I get a better image about groups. From there I get a view of the average level of kpop groups, which also gets factored in. This can also lead to some groups I've covered having to have a higher or lower score. I will eventually do an update on these groups, so plz stay tuned.

*UPDATE + CLARIFICATION*
- The groups are mostly judges as a whole. So while some artists may get a 10/10 (examples of artists who excel in each of these categories will be given), the others might lower the score.
The criteria which I use for my ranking:
- VOCALS: Is mostly based on the artists their vocal color and tone, not their technique. I'm in no way qualified to judge that, so it's secondary in this score (e.g BTOB)
- RAP: Only the members who are considered rappers will be taken into consideration here (e.g Junhyung - BEAST)
- DANCE: Flow, Technique, Execution - whether their underdancing or overdancing (e.g Seungyeon - CLC)
- STAGE PRESENCE: How much they can work the crowd (e.g BTOB)
*THE LOWEST SCORE PER CATEGORY IS A 5*

This was my first video, so admittedly mistakes were made. But the more I make of these, the better my comprehension becomes of these scores. I'll eventually make a update on this video, but for now it would look something like this:
- BEAST: Rap-Vocals +
- PENTAGON: Dance +
- LIGHTSUM: Dance + Vocal + Stage presence +

Couldn't agree more. Juhyeon alone is fire 🔥 when it comes to dancing. What's more if they were all given an awesome choreo.
As a cube stan, i agree with most of this except maybe the vocal for Pentagon and dance for Lightsum, i mean both Lightsum songs have a nonstop and complicated choreo compare to the rest of the groups.
I agree with you. I mentioned this to someone in another video, these lists will definitely need to be updated, because artists improve. And with each video I make, I get a better perspective on how I should rank artists ^ ^

I think the rap should be 9/10 at least but stage presence (they are referring to the whole group) I would put at 8 because a couple members still fade into the background (don’t grab attention) a lot.
It’s about the group as a whole or at least about each line, Soyeon can be a great rapper but the rest of their rapline are sub rappers, and their stage presence still lacks a lot as a group, since Soyeon and Minnie are the only eye catching members on stage (to me)

My opinion Pentagon vocal and stage presence should be higher, they vocal still stable and powerfull even without main vocal and for stage presence they can make us into their world, you can see they always having fun on stage as audience we can feel it, even their acting chef kiss.

I don’t know, did you see Show Your Love and Outsider choreography? I think they dance amazing although I would say 8/10.
@@cindih78 of course i do watch all of their stuff what im saying is over all of their songs not only 1,2 or 3 songs accept it or not BtoB is not focusing on a heavy choreo not like the other groups specially the younger generation they're more focus on choreo thing if you're a fan you know what i mean is thats why i agree the scoring of their dance performance because i know all of their stuff.
@@meloph the thing is that they absolutely could do the harder choreography if they wanted to, they just choose vocal/rap performances over dance performances. Rankings, for me, show their ability, not what is commonly practiced. So for me, I think they should get 8 or 9 because they can do hard dances, it’s just not their focus.

Lightsum has a very insane dance line, it’s definitely 10/10 for me. Juhyeon and Sangah literally cleared another dance line from kpop group.
Btob is 7 for dance? Hm, I think they should rate higher. Just because their choreography tend to be simpler doesnt mean its subpar i think.

Agreed. I don't think they're bad, nor do I find them impressive. However, they just debuted, so I think they have plenty of time to improve. Hence why 6 all round. I do have high hopes for them, since I generally like cube artists

lightsum vocal is debatable and i totally understand why you gave 6/10. They have very strong vocalist like Chowon and Nayoung but they also have slightly weaker ones like Hina and Huiyeon. Same for dancing, their dance line, especially Sangah and Juhyeon! Nonetheless, i think the ranking will definitely go higher as they improve better. Thanks for this video!!

I'd say Pentagon's vocals are way better than a "8", at least a 9, I mean, they have Hui and Jinho (he literally reached Phantom singer 4 finals, becoming not only the first idol to qualify to that program but also, reaching the final), also their rapper line is strong I mean Wooseok went to Show me the money and got more votes than other "idols" from that edition that are said to be "better", votes from a professional jury.

Lightsum is the least marketable group. Too many filler members and the songs aren’t somewhat special to standout. Vanilla, Vicace and Alive were more like b-sides and the rebranding part doesn’t sound weird to me at all. I am surprised Jian was out, i thought she was the favorite maknae. All i know Cube is trying something. It’s better than less investing in them like CLC.
Clc needs higher like maybe 8 or 9 in Dance rap nd vocal
For clc rap and dance should be higher! Maybe even a 10! And gidle rap obviously should be 10 but maybe it’s because other members who are in “rap line” but didn’t rap much too(like yuqi) and lightsum vocals and dance deserved at least an 8:)
