I did the EXACT same thing with my temple of Anubis diorama a few weeks ago... coated the entire thing in black mod podge only to then paint every square inch of that beast light tan. Half way through I was like hmmm, I probably could have just used tan mod podge... Anyways, another great video as usual!

If it helps, the alcohol improves your karate too (or, much like dancing, it improves how well you *think* you do it)
