I use night vision binoculars to get a closer look at radio towers at night. My newest pair is the NV200 from oneleaf.ai and they're great for enabling me to see transmitter sights in total darkness.
These have a range finder and a built in laser to pin point targets but also see how far away they are. - Věda a technologie
This is turning into surveillance channel, surveying all the waves :D

@@RingwayManchester Now you're criming the photography fans lol.
@@RCAvhstape Please, for the love of everything holy and sacred, do not summon the crimer-crier here - unless you want to make fun of him, of course.
I’m usually not an impulse buyer. But I bought this device based solely on your review here. I’m very pleased with it. We live in SW Florida surrounded by wildlife - including many that are nocturnal. This is a great tool to enhance our enjoyment of the local fauna.
I may have to buy these. They sound pretty good.
Binoculars, night vision, laser and range finder. Plus 20% off all Cruise and Brimstone Missiles.
Your dark net site address plz. I wish to order 4 of each. 😂
How much?
awesome review
It feels like it's a decent quality DSLR sensor packed into a binocular frame
I'm surprised it's not something I've seen done before considering how good those sensors are getting
They have been around a long time.
Only in the last few years becoming cheaper and better with advances in Technology
Thank you for the great videos.
Thank you so much as always!!
A nice piece of kit and some fine shots from atop Werneth Low - a great vantage point for testing such gear.
Certainly is Dave!
Just ordered the 70mm version with range finder. Discount worked well thanks! Looking forward to it!
I’m assuming it looks this good just looking through it or do you have to be recording for it to look like it does in the video
Great video, loved that track you put to the images and footage towards the end. 😎👌🏻Now I want to get myself a pair though. 💸😅
We're really getting towards having tech just like those in a galaxy far, far away (a long time ago)
Todays tech is better because Disney ruined that galaxy😅

Interesting video and something different, really well produced video as usual mate, thank you.
(dusts the wallet down again) 😎
You sir, are an absolute nerd, beyond any therapeutical solutions. I salute you. 73 de Glenn ON4WIX.
Thanks!!
Great kit
Appreciate this post m8. As a prepper. I've been seriously thinking of getting a set of these. Had an infra red monocular version a few years ago. Though it's magnification wasn't too great.
In your thumbnail it has a range finder. These can decieve! As when you're looking up or downhill. The range will always be a lot further that what's registering on your particular device. There's an equation that gives u a more precise range, but talking of range. My iq is below the range to work that equation out, lol. Gratitude for posting. You're my go to channel for all thing's radio. And now it seems. Other interests of mine too. 👍
its not too difficult look it up in the snipers manuals from the military using a surveyors theodolite its a snap but can be done with other optics
@@jhonsiders6077 Appreciated. I qualified on the, FN, slr, (fal), but iron sights only. This was way back in the 80s.
Great video thx.
I'd be curious to know about something like this with a left and right image. Does the depth perception help in any way at these distances, or would that only be useful for "just" night vision?
Very cool!
Dear Ringway,
you are not a nerd. You are a man with specialist knowledge willing to learn and exchange information. Ignore the pedantic trolls. And sorry if I sound too sycophantic , but 129K people agree with me. Keep up the good work.
And if these binoculars are commercialy available, Lord knows what the military have.
As ever all the best
Phil Sharp
The military can see through walls 😮
Nice photons
These look awesome! Incredible for the price, although sold out on the Amazon link. As someone of a “prepper” disposition these are on my wish list! Great review, thanks 💖
Same here. I had a monocular infra red type a few years back. Bought it 2nd hand. And it still cost around £80. For what it was, i found it good value for money. Though the magnification was only X6 or X8. I got into prepping several year's back. I'm ex military so had a head start with feildcraft etc. One of the reason's i started was the fact i live between Faslane nuclear sub base, in the Clyde. And Rosyth royal shipyard on the river Forth. So i know those will be targeted. ☹️
It's better to have it & not need it. Than need it, etc, etc. And my philosophy on the chaos that would ensue is, "No helps coming. It's up to you." Hope u stay prepped & stay safe. 👍
Just a suggestion, check out gen 1 and gen2 analog image intensifying devices, those are actual night vision devices. this is just a camera with an ir flashlight strapped to it. Anyone with an analog passive NVG will see your beam of ir light from a mile away.
@@belverdemotorsports2410 We called these Starlight's back in the day. It pick's up on the ambient surrounding light. Including, "starlight". If i remember correctly. The, SUSAT, gunsight used this. And was 2nd gen?
@@Teknophobe I’d prefer a monocular. Never got on with binoculars! I totally agree, my story sounds similar to yours. I’ve had close mates take the mickey in the past for being a bit of a prepper with basic emergency food & medical supplies and kit. @@belverdemotorsports2410 going to look into this now. Thanks for this information mate
Part of a 'dogging' toolkit! 🤔🤣

@@MM0IMC Oh yes. I understand. 😂👍
Well there was a shot of a dog... 😬
It’s so cool
Thanks for the wonderful review. I'd say the term "affordable" is not always as straightforward. To me, currently, the price for this kit doesn't really fall into that alley. It's still nice to know such versatile binoculars exist, should need to get one and can shell enough to get it.
Great video Lewis.. Nerds Rule!!!!!!
What you got is great for watching the birds on the antennas.
I am nearsighted so can I use it without wearing reading glasses? No-one has bought this on Amazon and there is no 30-day return either
Sweet..
Not available in the UK via your link apparently...
Discount code doesn't work for me, and yes I used it on their page

looks nice and a great video cheers from the US I did not see if you could turn off the laser pointer ?? would want to do that . I have 2 contractor series on rifles many $K each . I am surprised in the UK they do not regulate such equipment in civilian hands considering how overly strict they are on owning fire arms they would not like people seeing in the dark well . not much luck tuning in the the russian stations going to build a big antenna array out in the back field . keep up the good interesting vids !
Cheers! You can turn it off
Not even Nerdy, bro. I love your content, and your photos are awesome.
Agreed. I subscribed for the info, but became hooked on the visuals. He puts a ton of effort into his post's.
it has two lenses in front but the viewing "eyepiece" thing looks like its just a screen. Are these actually binoculars or is it just a day and a night camera side by side in the shape of a binocular? In other words is it really 3d or are you just looking at one screen, or is it one screen showing left and right views to make 3d?
edit: its not binoculars- its two monoculars in one case with one screen that can switch to show the image from one or the other.
It's neither. One is the digital camera lens and the other is the illuminator lens. It's a monocular with a digital screen. Gen 0 stuff.
Sold out already
Are we talking about active near I.R here?
Yes. Gen zero stuff, shut the illum down and you won’t see much.
Awesome bit of kit Lewis! I wish I could justify them. They would be great for hunting. All the best, Rob in Switzerland
Can these be hooked to a screen?
Yes I did say in the video
How are they for glasses wearers?
I’m a glasses wearer and they’re fine
can you find nvg that use red not green for night vision like the pilots used in vietnam, thanks...
you trying to see demons?
yes@@blazefright4889
the older Litton ones were I found one in a case at a YARD SALE ! I had to contain myself ! they only knew grandpa brought it home from viet nam and it was a scope of some sorts ! $50 on it i offered 40 sold I walked away ticked it still works ! has the illuminator too .
thanks.@@jhonsiders6077
@@jhonsiders6077can you record?
I work as a Security guard and we are guarding a coal mine where 3rd persons are trying to steal coal. 😂 Am looking for long distance surveillance gadgets like binoculars and Torchlights that have long range lights... Those are must have in this business.
Dear nerd, we already have enough expensive hobbies.😂💰💰
Actually, & given I paid nearly $500 for a Gen 1 starlight scope that was surplus Soviet block equipment twelve years ago the price of these is darn good. Plus it films too.
If I did not have a coil spring break on my van yesterday which is expected to cost $500 to $600 I'd seriously consider picking them up. Here in the boonies of the Catskill mountains we have a lot of large predators roaming around at night leaving deer parts such as legs & heads in my yard. We also have some strange people roaming around thus a far better night vision device would be very much appreciated.
This is a gen zero device, it has a digital sensor and NO light intensification at all. It just shows you the otherwise invisible ir illuminator. Your gen 1 scope is already ahead of this, just add an ir illuminator for those star less nights…
Bro as a 14 y/o i really like watching your videos. I also want to buy some radios but i don't have money for it lol
Thanks!
@@RingwayManchesterwhere can I get rhese ?
Well thats my bank account empty. Thanks! 😂
So can you actually see stars with it....?
Hope there is an option for some other text color, blue is not a good choice for me.
I agree
@@RingwayManchester😇🇦🇺
So, just above half of the price of a DIY-kit of the night vision goggles the USMC uses, except, it has record functions. not bad.
Zelensky would like a few of these, preferable attached to a sniper rifle..... Lewis, I picked up GOYOJO GE192 IR camera for £119 from Aliexpress. As a retired Thermographer I didn't expect much but was surprised how good it is. Similar sell for over twice the price on Amazon and eBay and is cheaper than the Mobile add on units which quit frankly are pants.
Only a matter of time till you get analogue nods
How can i get this in th UK?
Two questions: why would you want to record towers in darkness and where did you take the dogging photos?? 🤣🤣
Someone's a dogging aficionado i see? 🤔😂😂😂😂😂
Judging by the video samples, I'd say the Acaso Seemor is a better option. Cheaper too.
These are rather like the ones Luke Skywalker used in Star Wars....but for real. And only $600? Nice. :)
They are showing as unavailable right now.
looks like the ones from starwars lol
Have you tried looking at the stars?
It’s Manchester. There are no stars ☁️ 🌧️ ☁️
As their not actual nv more so ir cameras you wont really get that wow factor of tru amplification nv
can you do more reviews on nerdy products like this, such as prepper tech, mil tech etc!
Too bad Lewis probaly won't be able to get ahold of a SOFLAM.
Novel device but at the endof the day just ir cameras its no better than a torch really thats basically what it is for the most part a sensitive camera and ir torch anyone with actual amplification based nv could see you from miles away if i still had my nv binoculars it would be funny as heck to show you the difference between the two its shocking budget monocular device thats gen2+ will run u 2-3k or more
I still have not learnt to use my phone camera properly ! I guess I'm not a nerd ? 73.
Day time video is amazing night video kinda sucks nice chill music
Oh likey think I may have to get them to go bigfoot /paranormal hunting.... Well one day
$600?!?
That's the Amazon price, check the other link, $429.00 U.S.
For a digital camera and an ir illuminator. It's not even light intensifying stuff
Nice video but I wouldn't call $600 affordable. Cheers.
Just eat carrots and use the eye you had closed all day for seeing in the dark!!
you call Find NV200 50mm 4K Digital Day/Night Vision Binoculars
$628.00 cheap Ha
Is compared to real nv thats 3k+ altho nowhere near the performance of a proper gen3 or gen2+ nv device
