The two main Shopify APIs are namely the Admin API and the Storefront API.
Shopify's Admin API is used to integrate Apps and Features within a Shopify store whereas the Storefront API can help you to build Shopping experiences apart from an online store. Developers are using the Shopify API to integrate third-party services and unlock the full potential of Shopify as a Shop System. Basically, any functionality can be leveraged using the API. Products and orders can be obtained by the API, inventory can be managed, meta fields, and many more. The two main ways of working with these APIs are accessed via REST or GraphQL. While I recommend getting started with REST, cause it is easier to understand, GraphQL will be the future of all new Shopify Features.

Hi Jan, slightly of topic but ..I have a quick question - on customer billing statement on Shopify payments..it appears for me 'number can't be blank' is there a way to get around this so I can leave it blank (I'd like just to have my store name with a hyperlink on it....is it possible? thanks

Hello Jan, I have a shopify site getting this error: Your custom apps and/or webhooks may stop working Custom apps and/or webhook subscriptions on your store need changes or they may stop working. I have updated the webhook to the latest release but still getting this error. Any help would be welcomed.

We have 3 brick and mortar stores - frozen custard. We just opened 3 shopify stores for online ordering. I just want to be able to write an application in C# for instance to extract sales information from our stores. I assume this is very possible using the ShopifyAdmin with REST. Anyone got any other tips or tricks for me to get started. I know software pretty well so once I get a basic understanding of the REST calls I should be all set. And yes I began reading the Shopify documentation which is voluminous so was looking for a any shortcuts

I need to integrate Via bill-Shopify to angular node js project
We are developing an e-commerce website with angular and node js. And we are handling the e-commerce products from our backend side. We need to integrate Via bill and Goaffpro to our e-commerce site. After our research, the Via bill and Goaffpro don't support directly to angular and node js. So we need Shopify as an intermediate for integrating those third-party plugins.
Our question is "Does Shopify provide the API's for Via bill and Goaffpro to Angular and node Js?"

Actually, you can disable product inventory tracking through Shopify on the product editor page itself. Hope that helps :-)
