@@treasure9342 her role is quite literally being a "red herring" (it's her talent's name too), so we can be distracted from the real issue in the story and i love that. she does her role so well both in and outside the game lol

Ok i do think this story is so EXAGGERATED on how "sad it was", alot of penacony was fun (cause we cantnjudge on writing cause all this chapter did was set up) but penacony being "dark and sad" when it really wasnt cause
1. Its clear firefly isnt dead, its common sense sam is firefly (if u want solid proof and u didnt understand it in the story, go back to where u fought sam and unwill find the firsfly picture in the remains of one of the enemies Sam burnt)
2. Robins death wasnt supposed to be sad, its a tension setter to show things are going to go down in penacony

The reason many players are sad is bc of what game this is. Now I’d agree with u with 95% of Gacha games on this, but this game has the Honkai ip. Shaoji, the narrative writer of hi3, is even joining in on this. We’re not exaggerating, we’re just fking scared of what shaoji is cooking.

I was hoping Penacony would have a decent story, not great, but fun to play, but I thought it was pretty good, especially the Firefly part, what a boring and insufferable girl
I don't think u can really judge it on writing since this chapter is just setting up plot lines.......I feel like u can judge is when we're further down the line
Also the firefly part is devision in the Fandom cause it's all based on if u like her or not...........and honestly, firefly had some good......some bad just because she took up alot of the story and just sidelined most of the cast.....and sidelined the express.....u know THE MAIN CHARACTERS OF THIS GAME
Edit: the only way I thing penacony can actually be bad is if firefly is somehow not sam and is just dead, cause if firefly is dead, then her death had no point and was the most shock value relailnt way to get players a reaction........and it would be terrible writing cause 80% of penaconys story so far was WITH FIREFLY and if shes dead the first partnof penacony is pointless.........so that's the only way i can think penacony can be bad and firefly as a character can be bad.......,but since it's pretty obvious at this point sam is firefly
